Well the game is only open to forces of the imperium and orks isn't it?

Technically speaking yes, but i don't want to exclude Chris so there will be an alternative Eldar twist in their somewhere! Just haven't got round to figuring it out yet!

Added new bits to the pack. Games one to three detailed with additional discussed bits in the Blitzkrieg!

Just had a look at the new pack Scott, wow it's looking really good.
I’ve done some quick sums, and for the Blitzkrieg I like so far;
2 x Dakka Jets
5 x Deffkoptas
An Ork-tress of redemption
10x Lootas
10x Grotz
10x Grotz
Might have to look at the points balance though, as it may be a touch heavy on the ground element. Do the Orks need an HQ?

No, nick, neither side are required to take an hq! I'm working on a couple of additional units for those that like to build stuff too! They'll be finished in a day or two! Mainly to help the orks along as the imperial element are way ahead in terms of resources for the weekend!

Any thoughts on the pseudo-planetstrike rules? I think i've struck the right balance for that style of game without causing the havoc that planetstrike is traditionally assosciated with. Thats the angels of the emperor - death from above set for those who haven't yet seen the wip pack!

the rules all seem good thus far. Wondering if having all hvy support with skyfire and interceptor is a little grim to fight against

Its only for the first turn remember! Heavy's with skyfire from turn two, but it is ork shooting!

Scott do you want me to look at Imperial or Orks for force building?

The skyfire/ interceptor rule boost won’t be too much help as it doesn’t effect template weapons and the only other HS options for Orks are either short range; Rockets, KMB. Low strength; Big shootas or random Zapp gun. Now if the Lootas got the boost that would be a different story.
I looked at the total airborne list with a supper heavy Ork bomber but changed my mind. I felt that the fortress fitted the fluff better.

I think orks mate, i imagin there will always be an over balanced imperial element that we'll need to deal with!

@bignick, i reckon that anything that is deep striking will be doing so close to the defenses where those weapons will be employed though so hopefully it'll be enough!

Sounds good, the fortress table at WHW springs to mind. A game like that need’s more than one green tide formation and a hand full of Stompas to look right though.

I can field about a total of 180 painted Ork infantry models at the moment. With another Ork ally that should be enough

Well I only have 24 ork boys, wazdakka, and a truck painted so far but I will be getting more painted over Xmas!

After the pasting I received from the Crimson Fists during the Apoc game I’ve been feeling a bit under gunned. So I’m thinking about investing in a pair of Super Cannons to deal with all of those annoying Landraiders. Also might get myself a mad Doc for the 5+ inv.

Wow this is strange, the speed freaks are slowing down, big gunz and fortifications what is Animosity doing to me?

Yeah I really wanted to be able to build something custom and ridiculous, sadly with the amount of painting I have to get done suspect I won't get chance

They'll be ready before the 1st, at least to the point in which you could begin a build! Some tweaking before their rules are finalised would be needed as with the mission stuff so input when they're out there will be welcome!

Hi all, I am still smiling after denying the waagghh!

I have started planning the crusade of fire campaign for friends up here. Scott can I have a copy of the record sheet you used to keep track of points as I am wanting to use a similar system?

Busy planning special missions, golden flag objectives to build doomsday devices and other goodies!

Still thinking of a way to include the arena battles between HQ's any suggestions welcome.

If you give me a shout after the boxing day I'll email you a copy mate. Its on Newcastle comp and I'm in Lincoln at the moment.
