Thats me in, just unboxing my 3rd dakka jet all ready for shooting Grahams Battle Blimps out of the sky!!

I take there will be no Ewoks or other nasty suprises this time? Dont think Orks and Ewoks would be friends.

Geordie if you need some terrain for the weekend i have a Wall of Martyrs and some bastions i can bring along if you want.

I may take you up on that dude, thanks.

As for the ewoks, i had considered throwing the data sheet in for one or two newcomers in the standard games...

Excellent news, glad you're playing too Keith. I owe you some revenge for when you thrashed me with those Ork flyas the last time we played!

That was with the nids i think Graham and there was only 2 bombers at the time, lets see how you manage 3!!

Three dakka jets on the Waaagh! is a scary proposition, just ask Sar Mikael how two churned up his Dark Angels a few months ago!

I've tallied up... So far i can make 3k including my half built Stompa! No primork in those figures either...

My Gears of Waaagh! Nobz total in at 468 points. With a bit of ebay mastery i may be able to get another squad like that, call the the Orkust and paint them with red trim!

Also need to source a toy Rancor for my brumak squiggoth!

Hi Scott,

I'm just planning my various forces for the Ullanor weekender, and I have a couple of queries:

- In the Doubles game (#3), is it 2000pts each, or 2000pts total for the two armies?

- Are IA Aeronautica units allowed? I'm hoping to count my two smaller 'Overlord' airships as Vultures and my larger airship as a Marauder Bomber (specifically for the Apocalypse game on day two).

I'm sure they'll be more questions, but for now that should allow me to get started on my lists. Thanks!

Yes 2k each, and yes you can use those counts as units dude!

Had a peak at the blog to check out the squat action! Look good, can't tell what you have used though!

Hey dudes. Is anybody interested in an addition to the first thread showing who is attending in March and what with?

I made a list for Discordia but that went extremely pear shaped as I formulated it on peoples promises and it looked extensive at stages. The only people I'll be adding to this list would be those that have purchased tickets in order to avoid any confusion.

Its just a though, let me know what you think. It could be a short list for a month or so anyway.

well i should be buying my ticket in the next few weeks, its nice to get an idea of who is playing so a list wouldnt be all bad, the only trouble is if its a slow starter might put people off until more names are on the list

I always like to see a list of gamers, plus the army they're bringing. Helps to get a bit of banter going between the players, I've found.

Both points are extremely valid! It is one of the reasons i applied names before tickets last time but it gave an unrealistic account of our actual numbers and made planning even more pointless in the long run! I will put a list up but leave it until the end of feb and see how sales have progressed before i stick it up!

I’ve now got back on track with the Orks after being seduced into starting a new Dark Angels army. The riveting is all done on the bastion and i’ve assembled the Supper cannon and Mad Doc.

Just 16 more Nobz to paint and I’m all done.

Are you wanting to see lists posted in advance again Scott?

Only from the point of view of knowing who's taking what characters really in order to see if i can build on the basics of the narrative. Especially for the imperials as it would be good to know which primarchs and big names players will appear!

No ticket yet (not a surprise) - but Kharn & Bale should be making an appearance in my list.

(and Angron if I can afford him/allowed to burrow one)

Graham You got any Characters in your WE section or just Joseph Bugman for your squats

10 players confirmed then start a boarding ship conversation.

I would like to see who will visit the Gladiator pits on the long voyage to the foul Greenskins Nest.

As an ork player for March i must say i like that attitude... We'll all be fighting each other until you get to Ullanor too!

Is it bad we thinking about the event after March?

I am thinking of a rough rider army...

Just to further fuel the fire for JULY, I'll be hosting and fielding the zombies from the zombaid collection and taking on the combined kill teams of each task force throughout the day.

Planning on using kill zone rules for that rather than kill team, this will allo for more individuality to each team member!

Ah - so maybe working out 2k of Eldar Wraith armies might not be productive time,

Well i am sure we will still need 2k armies Mark, its just that we will also need a kill zone army as well.
Scott where are the kill zone army rules from?

I will confirm which ones we are using and find the best source this afternoon. But yes, you'll still need proper armies the kill team/kill zone is just a feature game! If i'm right then you can probably make a wraith kill team anyway too!

Ooo sounding good - Does anyone know if/how the Warp spiders rule work/change for Mortis Kill zone games...

They could prove to be awkward foes to face
