I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, I'm gutted to have had to pull out at the last min. I'm looking forward to seeing some pic's.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to all the guys for making me feel so welcome to the group this weekend! I had a great time, really enjoyed my games and met some top lads too.

I'll hopefully see you all later in the year at the next events, and possibly at Warhammer World if you fancy a game there sometime too.

Matts Dread list was great looking and (i hate to say this) great to play against!

thanks mate, to be honest i found the dread list to be loads of fun to play with and just quite entertaining.
really couldnt see why people complain about the list it didnt seem to be over powered at all

Those 'definitely-not-Squats-in-Exo-Armour' from Hasslefree Miniatures are gorgeous! I'll definitely be investing in some when they get released.

I may consider using them, alongside some Mantic Forgefathers, as counts-as Space Marine allies for my Squats.

@grazerGS - would you be interested in putting the homebrew stuff out as part of the Animosity expansion stuff dude? You can see an example of chilledmonkeybrains exceptional work in this field with our Ork pack and obviously the Ullanor campaign pack!

I've been thinking we could couple it to have a section for those squats that aint so nice to! I mentioned on the forum about trollslayers/berzerkers to join my khorne armies! Gives me an excuse to get some without having to invest in fantasy battle at this moment!

Also, was thinking in a counts as guard force that the armoured varients could be power armoured techy chaps as they can squad up!

That sounds great - it would be good to get some use out of my Squat Fandex, as it has been a purely theoretical writing exercise so far.

I'll work on it through April (I have a couple of work-trips away, so I'll put those evenings in the hotel to good use) and then send you the first draft. The points costs for units will be complete guesswork, but that's something we can work on.

As for Chaos Squats, I do have a few units in mind for them too - including a unique HQ character - so I'll try and include them in the first draft too!

Animosity - In the Maunsfeld Hegemony is coming in July.

The skirmish team/kill team rules are ready and awaiting some computer jiggery pokery to make them pretty, and the final decision on game totals and the campaign pack will be completed soon hopefully.

There will be an announcement on tickets etc later this week...

Breaking news... Maunsfeld gaming has closed. We'll be playing Julys event at a different venue. Details will be announced asap but nothing else will change!

Have confidence, we have prepared for this eventuality and it should not affect us detrimentally!

Hey I heard the new about Mansfield, sorry about that, it's real crappy luck, might I suggest Table Top? it's where us and Tempus hold our events now, i'm sure it could work for Animosity too.

Not really, I have to travel from Newcastle. The whole reason that Animosity was even established was because I (and others) don't want to travel to London.

It was just an idea as I don't know where else that is big that you can go apart from Warhammer World and I think they charge now? Which was why Stuart moved.

Megabus is always good for cheap and easy travel though if needs must
