Back packs usually have the armor colors added to match the powered armor. the vents and jest I usually tend to metallics and soot

This, basically. I'd also personally recommend painting that little hood/hat thing the same color as the armor, but thats just me. And, as always, the new kitty is awesome!

Which is part of the ammo-rack/powerpack they wear, make the feed arm metallics.
