I went to a piss up at a brewery this weekend! I drank...
And about ten others, after that, we went to my local, and my ridiculous 59 year old father head-butted someone half his age, starting a melee involving about another ten people.
Basically it was a typical weekend in Middlesbrough.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels. |

Something tells me Matty that you didn't help any of that situation at all.
As for me (in relation to the OP) I just finished a "rum and coke" made with Pepsi and The Kraken, as well as a Widmer Bros. Hefeweizen.

I typically drink PBR if I want a good buzz.
Sam Adams or Rogue Dead Guy ale if I want just a few tasty beers.
My gf recently polished off a bottle of Pinnale cookie dough flavored vodka. Mixed with root beer. I had a sip and it was BAD.

Laphroaig - a peaty and smoky whiskey.
Hoegaarden - I do enjoy Belgian brews, and weissbiers in particular. I recently got to taste a few of the entries from this years Oktoberfest; the Erdinger was just heavenly!

You had Lagavulin 16 yr. yet? Now that is a smokey Whisky  And I am being a scotch snob here, but Laphroaig is not a whiskey, it's whisky.

No, I haven't but I will look out for it as I've recently been bitten by the whisky bug and want to sample all the good ones; a friend gave me a taste of his Bruichladdich Octomore, which was absurdly peaty.

My collection includes some pretty standard American carried whiskys: Glenlivet 18 and 12, Glenfiddich 18, Glenmorangie 10. But I also have a bottle of Lagavulin 16, Balvenie Carribbean Cask 14, Dalmore and Dalwhinnie 15s. I'm always on the lookout for a good single malt to pick up. It doesn't help any that Scotch goes so damn well with cigars
