Team Tournament went in 52 minutes....

Well, missed the chance to get a friendly ticket (SERIOUSLY! 30 MINUTES!?!?) but I am holding a weekend badge and a championship ticket. This is going to be my first adepticon, so hopefully I will get to meet many of the dakka personalities. And, you know, maybe win the championship.

Oh? 30 Minutes? You mean I accidentally signed up for something I wasn't sure about doing and it's the hot ticket? Sweet.

This will be my first Adepticon, see y'alls next year

The Championships are obviously less popular as a Thursday event - I mean, there's still 20 tickets left, and registration has been open for 99 minutes already.

I think quite a bit of it is people signing up even if they aren't sure they'll be making it just to reserve a spot. But yeah, stuff is going fast as hell.

I thought I would be safe doing my registration at 5:30 PST. Apparently, I was wrong. Glad I got my tickets when I did though.

So kinda bummed I missed out on a getting a team ticket, is there any kind of waiting list? I imagine there will be people who bought one and will end up not having a team together.

Glad I got my singles ticket though at least, those are almost gone now too.

There is a waiting list, and I HIGHLY recommend getting on it. Some friends of mine were about 20 teams down on the list (if not more) and got in last year. There is always going to be some drops and what not, and there's a fairly good chance you'll get an invite, especially if you're near the top.

Any idea how to get on it? I guess just email?

And the VIP badges sold out right about five minutes ago.

Thanks for bearing with us. Felt a bit like a space-age Scottish engineer on this side of things. Managed to keep the server alive - it just got hit hard. About 700 or so people smashed into the gates with their F5 key as I turned on the cart. Ouch. We pissed off Yahoo too since we send a copy of all registrations to an address there. Anyone with a yahoo.com email address should have a confirmation email by now.

Got my ticket, taking it easy on events this year. Only signed up for the WFB 1000 tournament on Thursday and the Infinity tournament on Saturday night. Plenty of time for demos, pick-up games, visiting, and/or drinking.

I got the Gladiator and a Combat Patrol. I really wanted the Friendly but man did it go fast. May have to jump on a waiting list. Everyone that I talked with that played in that last year really liked it.

Haven't signed up for any events yet, but I'm considering the Malifaux Cake event and the Warmachine Iron Arena.

Thanks for the update. I sent an email to that address last night. I can't imagine how swamped you are currently, but will you guys shoot out an email to people to confirm placement on the waiting list? It'd be great just to have an idea of how far down the list I am to get some idea of how likely it is.

sadly "the Greg Sparks 5" will not make it in 2013. Work takes me to japan for the first half of next year and another team member has twins due in april as his first children. Have fun!!
