This year, I've decided to retire me three year running costume of a 1920's 'business' man, and opt for a new one. I've settled for Commissar outfit, which I think'd be a bangin' get up once its all done.
So, I'm looking to buy the jacket...and have already hit a wall.
Anyone know of an online dealer that has long military trench coats that AREN'T for women? They're non existent I tell ya!

I may be of some help to you. PM me and lemme know what you're having trouble with; or at least the specifics of what you need for the coat.

Just finding a suitable coat seems to be the biggest problem currently.
And that image seems to be broken for me.

I return...and stuff.
BUT! I found a trench coat at last. You all forgot about me, din'tcha? Weell now!
But, I've a new question for you guys. Who knows where to get 40k related patches, for a jacket or something? I know T-Shirts exist, I own one, but do any kind of jacket/bag patches exist for retail sale?

You will likely have to custom make the patches. I dunno about merchant, but GW is ...zealous...with their IP.
Some modern sewing machines can create custom patchwork.

There's plenty of places around that will do custom patches - All you'll need to do is find the nearest and give them a picture.
Good luck!

Hmm. That's too bad. Oh well, I'll see about getting a custom one made, or doing it myself.
In the meantime, I've just purchased some cord for the shoulder rope thing, and some fancypantsy ribbin for that shirt thing he's got going on there. Two belts, after undergoing some minor doctoring, are going to be that strap that goes around his chest and back.
The hat is going to be difficult, though, namely the design on the front. I thought about using fabric paint, but, I dunno...not convinced that'd look legit. Any suggestions?

Is that what it's called? Awesome! If you know what his shirt thing is called, with all those silvery nubs/buttons, as well, I'd LOVE to know.
And it's neither, just a plain fancy braided red cord, which I'm going to dress up like that.
