Can anyone tell me the dimentions of the Fortress of Redemption?
I'd like to construct an orky version of my own but I'd like it to be as close to the same dimentions as possible.

Fortress of Redemption | Games Workshop
OP, hello. just done a google search for you. hope this helps, i don't own one just yet (too many projects, admech/ork/chaos/nid)
www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId...
The Fortress of Redemption is an indomitable fortress, a towering bulwark ... tower stands 14" high and the whole kit is 24" wide when measured annex to annex ...

There was an article a while ago about card stock planet strike bastions and he made one of those, but heck, it's looted. You only really need the general shape. Half of it would be blown to nothing anyway.

Conduct While Gaming
While rolling a die, do not say, “Anything but a 1!” unless you wish the die to come up as 1. Any other such attempts to anger the “Dice Gods” will result in the existential equivalent of continuously flipping a coin and having it come up heads every time (for reference, see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). Your dice will be cursed to roll ones for everything other than morale checks, which will come up sixes.
ORK PLAYERS HAVE A LIMIT OF 1 SCREAMS OF WAAAAAAGH PER HOUR. violators will be forced to play tau.
Players with chimeras and las weapons shall pronounce chimera ki-mere-uh, not chim-ere-uh. Violators will be forced to play nothing but world eaters. Non-40k personnel must purchase and build a chimera. |

Since an approximation is all that should be necessary, you can get ballpark figures by extrapolating from the stock images. Between the ~1" models standing on it and the fact that it accounts for roughly 1/5 of the total height of the tower, the walkway should be roughly 3" high (although, with the wall extending to provide cover for the lower half of a Marine, perhaps 2.5" to the floor and 3" to the top of the wall would be closer). 3" floor/story height seems to be pretty standard, so I find this unsurprising. With the resultant height of 9", then, for the tower, roughly 5" seems right for the length of each side of its base. Etc.
Or you could just wait for someone with the actual kit, a ruler, a friendly disposition, and about two minutes of free time.

I guess I can go measure my FoR...
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Alright,
Tower
5" wide at base
~ 4.5" wide at top
14" tall
You may want to look at a picture of the bunkers to see what Im talking about next,
Bunkers
Octagon shaped
7 5/8" wide from side to the opposite side at bottom(6 3/4" top), then the middle of each side sticks out an extra 1 1/4 at bottom"
Missle silo is 2.5" diameter in the center of the bunker
Walkway is 2.5" high
Bunker itself is 4" tall
Bunker sitting next to tower is cut 2" both directions in on walkway level basically right up to the missile silo
The walkway itself I can measure but my measurements would be hard to say without a picture, I should get my phone back sometime this week and I could take a picture next to a ruler and label some stuff with measurements for you, but this should be a decent start for you I think

Can you post a render? I'm working on some bastion and landing platform ideas for Eldar (I think I have an ok solution for the ADL) as well as Orks. I'd like to see what other people are doing - for inspiration and stealing .
