Well well,my Death Korps Kreig's Death Knights has been completed.I hate the gray&dirty original color setup and changed to a little bit ice blue.Hope you guys like it.

I much prefer the more common greys and olive/browns, but the brighter scheme definitely works, personal preference aside. Regardless, the execution deserves applause. Well done!

How did you paint the flag in the second photo, it looks.. strange. As if you highlighted the deeper parts of it .. is that right ?

To be honest, I'm a huge fan of the dark and gritty DKoK, but I'm simply loving the blue, black and red colours on these models, you have done a great job!

Many friends of mine asked about how to paint the flag. Hoho

follow this steps:(GW old painting color set)

cover the whole flag with Regal Blue mixed with Chaos Black by 3:1

when dry, high light the flag with Regal Blue.

then high light some layers with Regal Blue mixed with Ultramarine Blue by 1:1

high light with pure Ultramarine Blue.

then keep high light going on, with Enchant Blue 1:1 mixed with Ultramarine Blue

next is Enchant Blue 1:1 mixed with Space Wolves grey

you maybe need to get some Enchant Blue with more water down wash on the flag to make it looks natural

then Spacewolves blue to make a final high light.

The tips is , you have to make the blending from dark part to light part very sharply in a very small area, so it will be looks like Silk

thats it, hope you guys enjoy it.
