Hey everybody, long time lurker here. The reason I finally decided to come out of the shadows, is that I stumbled across this site today and I hadn't heard anything about it. Does anybody here on Dakka have any info? http://www.daminimart.com/

Looks pretty good to me, up to 25% off with a $200 purchase, and free shipping. I'll let you know more if and when I order from them.

So I bit the bullet and made a small order. My stuff took a little longer than I liked (about two weeks), but then again I ordered on the weekend (sat. 28th). Got my confirmation for my Necron CCB 2 minutes after I placed my order, (probably automated), and then the notice that my order was shipped three or four business days later. Just got my package in yesterday. Received it NIB. All in all, no problems here.

Nice prices....I think they are going to get hammered for having the GW prices displayed on their website

I have to ask this question every time, how are the shipping prices? Because from what I've seen with online stores, the discounted price isn't worth it if the shipping costs the same amount as the discount.

I say this mainly because I can get everything at my FLGS at 10% off. Even with tax, I'm saving money on GW prices, and I don't have to pay for shipping.

It looks like free shipping for any orders over $75, which is not a very hard target to hit for GWS. Otherwise, it's as you feared: $7 shipping for a $22 box of Ork Boyz.

That being said this looks like a pretty amazing site for larger orders.

On shipping prices: One of the reasons I always liked the WarStore is that it's a flat $5 shipping. If I order more than, say, $40 worth of stuff, the discount is guaranteed to be more than shipping, meaning I still save money. I haven't been able to indulge in huge orders of minis for a really long time, so I've never been able to take advantage of the free shipping at $75 and above that some online stores offer.

well for the Rulebook that i got 57+7 for shipping is still roughly 65 bucks, which is 10 bucks cheaper than the 75 that most other places charge, tracking order says it will be here tomorrow so I am pretty stoked! and i saved myself 10 bucks! large pizza anyone?

It sounds like based on the turn around times that they keep nothing in stock and don't order product from the distributor until the customer orders and pays for it.

Unfortunately, this a standard practice of many web stores.

Alot do this, but to stock 1 of all of the GW bits alone (let alone PP, spartan and anyone else) would cost over £10,000 - and most items would want 2 or 3.
