Hey guys,

Not sure if anyone on here is playing MERCs but I just posted up a battle report of the game on my site.
http://snaptocover.com/sefadu-vs-kemvar-mercs-minis-batrep-12/
This was our first attempt at a battle report so any CC would be appreciated.

If anyone is playing, what MegaCon(s) are you running?

I watched this on Youtube the other day!
I really enjoyed it, and watched a few more, thus causing me to subscribe!

I'm rather new to the game, but I really want to get into it. It looks so entertaining and fast!

... but if I was to go with a faction, I would be torn between the Yellow Jackets and Texico. I'm not sure what starter set to get first though.

My tough lance thrusteth sure,
My strength is as the strength of ten,
Because my heart is pure." - Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem, Sir Galahad

Glad you liked the vids. We'll be doing an unboxing of the new MegaCons tonight!

CCC & Texico are both really good beginner MegaCons.

CCC is your well rounded MegaCon, easy to pickup & their Nanite armor helps if you make a mistake with positioning. Very forgiving.

Texico are a little more advanced, they require good teamwork and focus fire. The learning curve might be a little steeper with these guys but you'll learn a lot.

Brilliant!
I'm looking forward to the Unboxings. Btw, are you guys posting footage of your time at GenCon? That'd be cool!
Thanks for the advice on the MegaCons! I'll probably end up buying both some time....
Oh, what can you say about 'House 4'. I saw a character of the faction on the MERCS Official Poster.
Seems intriguing!
Thanks again my friend.

We have a few pictures up that Lycane sent in while he was at the Con. We're also working on editing an interview with the guys at MERCs.
So far no news on House 4 but they look really sweet! Interested to see what they do with a new FCC house.

@Mad4Minis. Yeah, the new 3d sculpting they're doing is working really well. They used it on their new ISS and the detail is awesome for metals.
I'm sure it'd be even better in resin or plastic but for a small company its top notch.

Sounds awesome!
I'm looking forward to the upcoming videos!
You should start up a P&M thread, following your work on MegaCons and whatnot.
It'll definitely attract some interest, as I have no doubt that there are a few guys interested in the game.

What was that blue plastic bit that was being used instead of the cards to measure movement?

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Yeah those are made by GF9. Really cool little tool. Lets you keep your cards in place so you can keep counters on them & stuff. I picked one up at TempleCon for playing a demo.

That was my original guess but they weren't on the GF9 website.
