Hello everyone!

Just wanted to let you know that pre-registration is now open for the third annual Brawl in the Fall Warhammer 40,000 tournament. It will be held on October 6th, 2012 in Clovis, CA. Armies are 1750 points

You may find details at www.brawlinthefall.com. The latest tournament rules should be posted by tomorrow. Cost is $30 for pre-registration, $35 at the door on the day of the event, space permitting. We have space for 40 players this year.

The following companies have graciously agreed to provide sponsorship:

We may have a few more as well, and those will be announced as they come in.

The gang had a blast at this event last year, and Team Zero Comp will definitely be in attendance this year as well!

What missions will you all be using? I didn't see it in the packet.

Haven't gotten them completely nailed down yet. At least 2 of the three will be book missions, and the third will likely be a bit of a throwback to 5th. We are in the process of doing some play testing right now.

Also, I don't think the revised rules made it up on the website yet, but I will post when they do.

where is the event being held?

It'll be at the Clovis Veterans Memorial Building in downtown Clovis. Specific info is on the tournament website under Upcoming Events.

Another addition to the giveaways! We also have Limited Edition Brawl in the Fall objective markers with our logo on them! Each participant will receive a set of three of these custom markers in addition to the other items already listed!

Tempted to go. But I've got to put in a lot of practice. October 6 is not even two months away and I still haven't opened my copy of 6th edition.

Wow sounds great! A few of us from Redding, Ca might make the drive down! I think its roughly 4 hours? probably a little more, depends on whose driving

Great tournament. I encourage anyone from out of the area to come on down. Very nice venue and a decent hotel 50 yards away (and plenty of bars 50 yards the other direction for those so inclined).

How should I pre-register?

Stupid question, but I don't have any experience with tournaments. I'm not interested in participating as my army is in complete overhaul, but is the event free to the public? If I have the day off I'd love to take a short drive (I live in Selma) and check out people's armies, meet some new people and get a feel for the tournament atmosphere.

@ dauntless - Sorry you had trouble with contacting us through the website. Try again and make sure to fill out the contact info thoroughly (including the validation code at the bottom of the form). Scenarios should be available for download next week. Pre reg ends on the 29th, so you have a little over a week to get it done!

We should figure out a carpool! Dan, Frankie, myself, maybe Keno, and a bunch of the team are going. We can save some dough and ride together.

Definitely! If possible, I would prefer someone else drive so I can brush up on the rules. Ive only started reading them this week, but they are very easy to understand compared to the last few editions, just need to make sure I have everything down on the drive. Logging off to read now, disappointed I had to drop my wraith wing ( ) so made an even army instead.

Also, just a quick reminder that pre-registration ends on Saturday, so if you're planning on attending and want to secure your spot, be sure to get your pre-registration done, especially if you're coming in from out of town!

Got 'em right here. They should be up on the site shortly as well. The Scoring Summary file also includes the actual player scoring sheets to be used in the tournament. LMK if you have any questions.

Also, here's the list of people already pre-registered. Contact me if you have and don't see your name on the list. I need players to submit army lists to me prior to this coming Friday so that I can get them validated for the tournament. You may send them to mreindl@comcast.net
