I mean come on. An announcement of an announcement? I am suppose to mark down Aug 25th? Shouldn't I really be marking down Sept 1st instead? I am really getting sick and tired of GW making us out to be really that stupid.

Anyone else with me here? We are more smarter than this. We are not children who need to get excited over an anouncemnt of an anouncement. I am really getting sick and tired of this. Also the stupid teaser was so stupid I can't even get excited over this. The leaks I get excited for, but imgaine if GW was not giving out any leaks? How would anyone be excited over their stupid marketing?

Hell, with the 5th edition core set release, we had plastered our entire store with ads, event run-downs, reminders, etc... Every customer was told ad nausium and given an event flyer. We even had people signed up for day long events!

Some adults still -up the release date and were coming in the week before demanding their pre-paided product, or else turned out a week late and demanded compensation for missing the event they'd signed up for.

In terms of the newletters, I learned that the announcements have a lifetime of one week.

Who cares? Its a two week notice of the starter set... why are you offended that they told you something is coming?

GW just needs to grow up and announce their plans months in advance like every other company in the entertainment, it doesn't do anything besides annoy people. Hell video games are often announced well over a year in advance.

Fortunately the forums allow just about anyone to bypass their state secrecy policy.

GW's target audience IS "older children". You are playing a child's game, remember that.
