So, I'm about to get myself an army case of some brand for my Infinity needs. I figured the humongous GW case would be too much, so I'm looking for options.
I know of a few armycase-companies, including KR multicase, Battlefoam, Feldherr and Sabol. Currently I'm leaning towards getting a KR one, but I figured asking the community what option they choose and if they have any recommendation to share?
So tell me... How do you transport your Infinity armies and what are the pros /cons?

I use KR cases for all my stuff. Loads of sizes and configurations. Top quality too.
I think theres another thread about storage somewhere. . . . But that could be a different forum!?

There are a lot under Dakka Discussions, but I was kinda after what case would be good for Infinity-only purposes.
On another note, what trays have you got for your Infinity figs? I've been very unsure which ones to pick if I go the KR way...

Most of the models fit very nicely into the trays that look like the gw ones. Except you get 10 per row instead of gws 9! Meaning you get 40 slots in one tray.
Anything like remotes and bikes can fit in the ones for 40mm bases. Which you can get deeper versions.
For TAGs its worth getting some pick and pluck stuff.
Its probably worth getting the half sized trays to put in one side of the case and then the deep pick and pluck stuff for the other side.
The foam is very flexible and not abrasive like the gw stuff. So far i havent had any scratches or breakages with any of my models and i've been using them for years.

Codes are from their official site. http://www.krmulticase.com/trays.aspx?type=C
I use the 70mm pick & pluck.
A couple of combos I'd use are:
V6S-N = Half tray of pick&pluck + 80 space marine sized figures
V6S-F = Half tray of p&p + 72 terminator sized figures
V5S-N = Full tray of p&p + 40 space marine sized figures. (Use this if you want/have lots of TAGs.)
Now you've got me thinking, I might have to place another order!
Hope this all helps!

I'll never use foam cases again. I love using magnets. I can fit all my shasvastii in this box. I can even put them on the top! I'm using strong cheap magnets. I spent less than $15 on the magnets, about $5.00 on washers, and $5 for this awesome Cars tin! You can't beat that! I don't have to worry about them being touched by the foam or other figs at all. I can all. Also I can fit more in as you can see.

Well a cheaper but still equally effective idea is just to use a larger magnet on the other side of the wall. That should hold up the climbing plus unit.

I think IJW had a picture with exactly that. A Nomad remote on the side of building! It was fantastic to see.

The starter boxes work pretty well - if you glue foam the size of the foam already in the box to the inner side of the lid, you should be able to lay models in between the 2 layers of foam without them moving. Cheapest way I can think of for Infinity.

This is The Best option for transporting Infinity, IMO
I was on my way to my FLGS the other day and got cut off, slammed on my breaks and my bag did a full flip and slammed onto my floor board upside down. I was worried about my models, but when I arrived at my destination I was pleased to see that not one single model was damaged! Awesome stuff.

Walmart sells handgun cases for as cheap as $10. WIll hold a fair amount of minis, though some TAGs and the like might be a bit to wide (with arm positioning an issue).
Though, I wouldn't walk around some cities with it.

I'm not sure a would want to walk around with a gun case at all in Sweden. I'm not even sure I'd be able to find one. Guns are illegal here, heh.

Does that bag come with all of the badges/patches, or did you have to buy them separately?

I started mounting all my figs with magnets back when I played warhammer fantasy with metal movement trays, it's a lot cheaper and easier than using foam trays. You'd rank up a unit on the tray itself and never have to worry about them shifting or faling over in the middle of a game. Rare earth magnets are only 10 to 20 cents each depending where you get them and very solidly hold metal figs, you can hold a tray upside down and shake it and they won't fall off and then you can store the trays in a flat box with figs already ranked up up and ready to go. Of course you still have to wait 20 minutes for your opponent to get all his models out of the foam and onto trays before you can start playing, but that gives you time to grab a soda and a snack Then once the unit dies, you rank them all up again while your opponent does his turn and put the whole tray back in the box, ready for action next game.
My other games like Infinity and Warmachine and the like obviously don't use movement trays, so I just use cookie sheets instead. It all costs less than foam and cases would and I don't have models rubbing their paint off against the foam sides or have to worry custom fitting odd shaped poses or delicate arms. Plus the boxes stack in my closet for easy storage and access and it's not too hard to find bags that will fit a few boxes for traveling. An old friend took it to the next level and had a carpenter make him full cabinets with slots sized specifically for the cookie sheets he used.
It's not as good as foam cases if your models take a serious tumble, but for normal transport to and from the shop or even as carry-on luggage it works great.

My wife found mine at Walmart for $4.00! I really want that Aliens one from Lunchboxes.com but it's $20. It comes with a thermos though! lol Just in case I need a drink when playing you know.
Seriously though I like that it's very light and has handle.
