OK, this one's obvious:

I thought we knew that the ONLY new Sectorial in the new book was the Greek Aleph one.

Did CB pull a fast one on us?

Are all of these new Sectorials in the new book?

Or are they really previewing Book 4 - which is probably 2 to 3 years away?!?

Daddy Jotum needs a Svalarheima Sectorial!

Ok, so USAriadna, Svalarheima, Tunguska, Russians (Ariadna Matr?), something.... Haqq?, The PanO intel thing, hexasomething and the mercs.
This is awesome, though I can't see them in the Campaign book. He said in some interview the campaign book was a "reinforcement" for the current sectorials, so the new must be for the next book!

Painful.

So again, something on the order of 2 to 3 years from now!

Really hope its not going to be that long!

I remember reading somewhere (Infinity forums i think) that it isnt goig to be quite as long as that, but that may be my head-addled mind making things up...

I think 2 - 3 years sounds about fine. If they release a new book with new units every year, it's gonna get messy real soon.
Unless they have an awesome, long-term plan which revolves around spending the next 6 years creating all the factions and subfactions as well as their minis, and then mostly do minis, missions, campaigns, storys etc. after that.

I was really hoping that CB was going to 'surprise' us though and have them in the new book or maybe release them 'soon'!

Actually the question about Raicho came up, from what I've heard "soon" with rumors of November of this year.

Side note, for anyone that was there, are sessions like this open to anyone to sign up for? And how do you know when it will happen? I'm hoping to go to Gencon next year, but want to make sure I can hit the tournament and this session. Don't want to spend the money for the entire 4 days unless I have to.

As much as I want them to be doing these in a new book, I kinda figured that they're taking things slowly now and redoing a lot of their older models/filling out old units before adding a whole slew of new Sectorials and entirely new units.

I eagerly await the next time you predict something that's already happened!

Can you tell us who won World War II?

Or the 2004 World Series?

Ha!

I'm not the one who was hoping that these Sectorials are coming in the Paradiso book, Alphy.

They told us very early on that Paradiso was only going to have the ALEPH Sectorial, but the point I was making is more that it's a much better concept to take it slowly and rework what they already have before diving into new waters.

And even then, they can still dive into new waters without a new book by introducing new units/update the old units through their website.

The sectorials introduced are in order of appearance.
USAriadna
Svalarheima
Tunguska
Kazak Sectorial
The Caliphate Sectorial
Varuna
The merc Sectorial Scarface is part of

I will also add the Yu Jing Sectorial that we assume is the Antagonist of Svalarheima Sectorial.

All are from the 4th book.

It's going to be tough for me to stick to just Yu Jing and CA when some of those come out. Nomads, Mercs, and now the Tohaa is going to make it very hard for me.

Yeah, Sval sounds like a good guess for Yu Jing. We already know the monks will be part of it and they would kind of go with the whole cold-terrain theme (the mountains of Sval are likely to be pretty close the the Himalayas, just a whole lot colder). So I figure the Huangdi branch of the state army is a good guess. I may also venture a guess that we will be seeing the Mongolian Cav TAG if this is true (it was introduced in a small comic alongside the Nomad Kriza Boracs, which I believe is Tunguska HI).

More targets for the Jotums of Svalarheima - and for the Nisses too!

Shame we're waiting 2+ years to get them though!
