Tesla weapons get two additional auto hits on a 6+ when rolling to hit, in addition a tesla destructor can hit ANY unit within 6" of the original target on a 6+, any unit hit suffers D6 S5 hits, providing that the original target remains.

Is this correct?

the Tesla and Arc qualities are pretty clearly laid out on page 82 of the necron codex, the only part that wasn't clear was the "original target remains" part that was added to the Necron FAQ.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!

So that'd be a yes then.

Unengaged units potentially get hit by the arc. And it's "every unit" within the range gets potentially hit.

But the rules are pretty clear, adding in the FAQ, on how these work.

Engaged units do as well.

Right now, the wonky part of Ark is if a unit is Arked to but is out of LOS, how is LOS and wounds caused worked out? From the model as normal, or from the unit hit by the Special Rule as if its from the model, they cant be wounded due to the rules for LOS.

Hahaha, Id expect a FaQ on the LOS for Arking in the next sweep. :3

You don't get to choose, it's both friendly or enemy.

I just want to clarify the statement in the OP. You roll for every unit within 6" if you at least hit the target unit with a weapon with the arc special rule. On a 6 you arc.

The way the statement in the OP makes it look like a to hit roll of 6 arcs to every unit in 6" whic is incorrect.

Well to further clarify then, you roll for arcing after you've resolved the initial firing and wounds from the tesla destructor and you only arc if the unit you shot still remains.

Yes, because the arc is not firing as a snap shot nor is the tesla destructor targeting the flyer. The "arc" is not actually a shooting attack either, it's an effect from a shooting attack.
