Subject: Which primarchs were psykers?

Hi guys,
Just a quick question, the title basically states my question, which of the Primarchs were Psykers?
Ages back I thought they all were until I read into angron and Khorne and realised that Angron wouldnt be accepted if he was. Then read into it and thought it was sanguinius, Magnus and Lorgar. However people keep saying that others are psykers and I'm confused.
Konrad may count as he can see the future, however it was stated that this was removed from the warp and was just a thing he could do.
Corax was said to, however I don't know if that's in sight of his invisibility (when he goes into shadows in deliverance lost) or he was shown tearing some poor guy in half with his power.
If anybody can give me a list on which primarchs were psychic and where there's proof of this I would be massively grateful.
Thanks,
Tom

To my knowledge all of them are psykers, even Russ and Angron. Granted after becoming a daemon prince he likely had them removed or had some warp gak happen so that they atrophied to the point where he is a weaker psyker than an average human.

Lemon Roos was a psyker, IIRC. He had some sort of super psychic howl that he used during the battle for Prospero.

They were all Psykers on some level. Angron would have no further need of his psychic abilities because as a DP he would be granted other gifts by Khorne.
But yes, all the Primarchs have some psychic ability no matter how latent or apparent.

Not to mention that he takes a direct flame attack from Captain Auramagma, and is not only unhurt, but reflects it back on his attacker. Although he may have been wearing anti-psychic armor at the time.
It certainly puts a different spin on some of the Primarchs when you think that their abilities, such as strategy (Guilliman, Dorn) or subterfuge (Alpharius) may be as much the result of psychic powers as skill.

All the primarchs were psykers of one kind or another, Magnus was the most powerful psyker of them, next I would say are both Sanguinius and Kurze because they poth possessed precognative powers. The rest probably had a number of little tricks they could do or one ot two larger things (like Russ' howl, never heard of that myself)

Then read some books....

Lorgar is almost certainly the most powerful psyker short of Magnus concerning the Primarchs.
In Aurelian, even Magnus is impressed by Lorgar's psychic growth, allowing him such feats as psychically tormenting a powerful greater daemon, and even telepathically forcing Horus to do his bidding, despite Horus's attempts to resist.

Which book is Aurelian? I have never seen/heard of it and I thought I had read pretty much all the HH novels.

It was a limited edition book. Good read with some really funny moments in.

Aurelian was a limited print novella. It is supposed to be released as part of a compilation coming up in a year or so, so don't worry. It will be available again eventually.

All of them were blessed with some form of psychic capability, some just did not attempt to use it or weren't cursed with having it thrust upon them.
Sanguinius was said to have some form of foresight and Curze was haunted by the same.
Leman Russ had a psychic howl, but if this is him directly using it as an ability or due to his actual creation I am not sure, as all the Primarchs were created with warp essence.
Corax could effectively disappear, but remain in sight, a mind trick in a way.
Lorgar is the greatest psyker behind Magnus after he has decided to harness their ability since his siding with Chaos.
Fulgrim has also displayed an increase in psychic capability since his possession, whether this is borrowed power or not remains to be seen.
It's also possible that all could communicate telepathically as displayed by Angron and Sanguinius before the battle if the Eternity Gate.

Right that makes more sense now. It would be a bit confuising why you wouldn't breed the psychic gene into the vat sons or a psychic demigod.
Another Question now though, who could do what?
We've established that Horus can flay a man with a glance,
Magnus was the most powerful
Lorgar was very powerful as well,
Sanguinius had his foresight,
Corax had invisibility
Konrad had precognition through seizures and could create concussive blasts (as he did in the dark king, destroying glow strips)
Russ had his psyker disrupting howl
Kahn controlled the weather (like storm from X-men, but mongolian too)
Fulgrim's power was probably from the daemon, though Im reckon its still telepathic to try to corrupt others.
But what can the rest do? Shapeshifting Alpharius possibly? Mortarion enfeebling his enemies?

Russ might also have some other tricks up his sleeve, although that is only speculations. There are a lott of myths about Russ. Some of them might just be methafors that have pased into legend. However, I do think he "read the bones" or at least his rune priest does in some of the horus heresy books. Also in the SW codex there is the talk about him making a cloak out of the wolf that guards the gate to death and now he can pass between both worlds as he sees fitt.
From a narative perspective, it is mutch more funn ti hint that they have theese abilaties then just say it outright.

Horus doesn't seem to be capable of active psychic power pre-Chaos, him flaying Pious (feth what GW says) occurred when he had taken in the mass might of the Dark Gods.
Also, I should mention, in Aurelian Sanguinius is mentioned as wielding a flaming Force Sword, implying to me that he could weaponise his psychic powers. Did Fear to Tread follow up on this?

Corax could "cloud men's minds with but a thought", the Khan could "talk to storms", and Mortarion apparently couldn't feel pain.
