I am new to orks and I was wondering what needs to be changed about this list to be more effective vs Dark Eldar.

HQ:
Warboss
+ Power Klaw
+ Warbike
+ Cybork Body
+ ‘eavy armor
+ Bosspole

Big Mek
+ Power Klaw
+ Kustom Force Field
+ Bosspole

Elites:
x2 15 Lootas

8 Nobz
+ Bikes
+ 8 Big Choppas
+ Painboy
+ Cybork Bodies

Troops:
x4 30 Ork boyz
+ ‘eavy armor Nob w Power Klaw and Boss pole
+ Shootas

x2 10 Grotts
+ Rutherend

Fast Attack:
2 Dakkajets
+ Suppa Shoota
+ Red Paint Job
+ Fighta Ace

Heavy Support:
3 Big Gunz
+ Kannons

I am deciding whether to ditch the bikes and go for more lootas and deffcoptas or not, any help is appreciated, thanks!

You do not need the ‘eavy armor if you are on the Warbike so save some points there. A Warboss should always, always take an Attack Squig if he takes nothing else. The extra attack should be mandatory, especially now with challenges.

Big Mek
+ Power Klaw
+ Kustom Force Field
+ Bosspole

If you are putting your Big Mek in with a unit of Boyz you will not need the bosspole, if you are putting him with Lootas it is okay.

Elites:
x2 15 Lootas

Love Lootas but three units of 10 each is probably better and because you have the Warboss your Nobs can and should be taken as a troops choice.

8 Nobz
+ Bikes
+ 8 Big Choppas
+ Painboy
+ Cybork Bodies

Why Big Choppas? I would save the points there and just take a Power Klaw on one of them as presumably these guys are rolling with the Warboss.

Troops:
x4 30 Ork boyz
+ ‘eavy armor Nob w Power Klaw and Boss pole
+ Shootas

These are excellent units although you may not need the bosspoles as unless you are getting hammered, they will never need them until it is probably too late to use them. Save those points and maybe get some Big Shootas in these units instead.

x2 10 Grotts
+ Rutherend

I would drop these as they are kind of pointless and you can use their points to buff some other units instead or maybe even add a Deffkopta or two with Twin-linked Rokkits. Plus the Nobs should take one of these Troop spots.

Fast Attack:
2 Dakkajets
+ Suppa Shoota
+ Red Paint Job
+ Fighta Ace

These are fun and can do great things although even a squad of Tactical marines with Bolters can take them down if you are not careful. The other problem with them is getting them in from reserve as for some reason mine jus have decided to make dramatic entrances at the last instant so far in the games I have played. As with anything in reserve you cannot count on these as a main part of your plan, as they may come on late and you may only get a turn or two of shooting with in any game.

Heavy Support:
3 Big Gunz
+ Kannons
These are pretty good now and should work well for you.

drop the big guns, drop the runtherds/grots, drop cybodies on the nob bikers, drop the eavy armor on the warboss biker

you dont need big guns against dark eldar. none of their vehicles are higher than AV11. this means your lootas will chew through them due to sheer number of shots, but they will have alot to chew through. if they bring a anti armor list with raiders/ravagers with dark lances focus on any and all raiders along with whatever venom spam. take away their army's transports so you can avoid getting stuck in close combat. this will then take away their mobility for their infantry.

you dont need eavy armor on the warboss biker because his bike come with 4+armor save.

you can save 10 points by giving the nob bikers a pain boy on a bike and dropping the cybodies. the pain boy will still give them a 5+ feel no pain save in case they fail any LoS and 4+ auto cover saves.

its always good to bring powerklaws with nob bikers. big choppas are good vs dark eldar due to +2 strength and no initiative penalty, but with powerklaws they wont be allowed any armor saves and it instant kills them.

you dont need the grots because you can use the points elsewhere and you 5 scoring units not including them. 5 scoring units is fine.

then use any remaining points to add more lootas or more nob bikers.
a suggestion i might add would be to seperate your current lootas into 3 groups of 10 so you can shoot at multiple targets just in case you wiff with one unit. plus, theyll be even better in 3 different units if you use the points to add more lootas.

I agree with all the comments apart from this one

if he is in with the Lootas he doesn't need the Klaw (as he wont get close enough to use it). Give it to the nob bikers instead - they should probably run with 2 - 3 claws. If you go with 2 claws you may want a couple of big choppas in there, but you don't have to.

You may want to drop a dakka jet and replace with some coptas - they are manoeverable enough to play hide and seek with the dark eldar vehicles. It will make the list more complex (more options to think about) so this may not work for tournament play with a time limit, but in a casual game this will work to your advantage.
