Anybody in WNY (more specifically, Erie County) play 40k?

I am interested in going in for several starter box sets and then splitting them. For about $150 each (4x100=400x.75=300/2=150) you can get 1500-2000 points plus rule books if ordered from an online retailer. I'm even willing to let you decide which army you want!

Any chance there's a middle ground? I'm down 20 minutes from Olean (Right on the Western border of Allegany County).

So we're talking just under a two hour drive? That's kind of rough, but if you want in on my scheme we can definitely do that. Springville appears to be about exactly half way.

Okay, I don't have an army right now so this has to happen first. I know of places where people play, but my work schedule makes it hard to get there, plus it seems like everytime I should up to a game store for 40k nobody else does ><

Not trying to hijack the thread, but do either of you go to Comix Zone? I've gotten to go there twice and would love to schedule a game (Labor day or day after is my next planned day up there, as I have to go help pick up some stuff from the State Fair, or at least make the trip).

I have not gotten a chance to play at a shop yet because I don't know if my tyranid army is legal to play with but when I find out I intend to play at either play the game read the story or comix zone also what army's and point values do you guys play

Hey all I am in fort drum Ny and would be willing to drive to syracuse to meet up with gamers if they would be willing to play? now onto the subject at hand here i would be willing to go in with someone on the box if someone is interested but i would just need some intel for that person as to when they would want to buy.
