I need to know this so that I can determine how I will make chaos cultists. So far I know
-Goliath
-Orlock
-Ratskins
-Redemptionist
Out of these, It would probably be either ratskins (as it is a nurgle army), or Orlock. Any other necromunda box sets that come with weapon sprues?

to my knowledge its only the 'new' gangs that have been revamped and are still for sale on the GW site that come with weapon sprues. If your after a cultist look - cant go past the Cawdor! They don't come with any weapons options but they look the most 'cultist like' to me. FYI - I have a box of the new Goliath, my opinion - woeful mini's. Why GW chose to remake the original Necro minis I'll never know

i see what you mean, I guess I'll wait until the codex comes out, to see what weapons they can take. That might be a better way to start, then I'll pick which gang, depending on what weapons are available. Now that you mention it, I think I may go with the Cawdor, if the codex allows weapon variations.
Thanks

If you're going Nurgle, Scavvies are the way to go for Cultists.

another option for cultists, which I'm playing around with at the moment -
Forgeworld Chaos Renegade Guardsmen torso
Imp Guard Lasgun Arms.
Warhammer Fantasy Undead Grave Guard or Wood Elf Glade Guard legs.

I'll post some pictures once I've completed a full squad. Yes its a little more expensive than I'd like, but I believe the FW torso are brilliant.

The thing about cultists is that they're as erratically armed and equipped as orks are, and that's the most fun thing about modelling them - you can pick any non-armoured human models you like, and arm them with anything as long as it's obvious what it counts-as. E.g. anything vaguely rifle-like can count-as a lasgun, etc.

Certainly Necromunda is a great source, but so are quite a few WHFB models, so long as you don't mind arm/weapon swaps.

Redemptionist,use them for cultists.
They are ideal
Kit is as follows
Robed bodies
Heads
Sprue of hand guns
Sprue of melee
Rifle/two handed melee sprue

Or Ratskins/scavy if you want that homeless look.

Or, why do you not want to buy the new cultist models from the Dark Vengeance box?

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Because the box is too expensive for my cheap . I may buy them off ebay someday, though, as they are awesome...
