Well, it's been quite a long time since I wrote about Nids so here I go...

Whip-hooks: The Whip-hooks are an extremely advanced form of lash whip. They are poisoned 6+ and put the the enemy at a -2 Iniative modifier while in close combat with the Cryptofex.

Horrors from Beyond: The Crptofex has a aura like no other, foes feel themselves lose control of their actions as the neurotoxins it emits take hold of their minds
All enemy units within 12" of the Cryptofex must take a Leadership test at the start of there turn, if they fail, D6 wounds are inflicted on the unit they are in, as per shooting attacks no armor saves allowed at half the majority Strength of the unit. If the target is not in a unit, they inflict D3 wounds on themselves with no armor saves allowed at half there Strength.

Do you mean the unit takes d6 hits at half the models str that allow no saves?

Srry, there poisoned and drop iniative to 1.

However, lash whips are not weapons, but biomorphs that alter a stat in close combat.

Yeah, but these are ADVANCED Lash Whips.

I kinda based this guy on a Tyranid Slenderman.

S6 makes his Poisoned 6+ weapons a bit unnecessary.

It does let him re-roll failed wounds against anything toughness 6 or bellow.

Still only wounds on a 6 though...

Not with 6th Ed. He wounds at normal SVT
