Hi there here are some pics and videos of my Biel Tan army in the works. Most of them are not based so I am not really putting any of them in the showcase gallery yet. This is the first time I have painted minitures in almost 20 years and then I just primed and did one base coat to play. This time around I am trying to actually learn to paint lol... The videos are primarily away to document my projects and have fun with it.
Here is my first Eldar Warwalker. I did have a problem with crazy glue on the windshield. Even though I didnt get it on the windshield it created a frosting. Now I will be using plastic glue in the future. I have a video posted of how I did this as well.
Oh yeah I have thought and read a little about it. That's a good point since I have only thought about it and not challenged myself to do it LOL I have to paint a wave serpent soon. Maybe I will make that my first. You are talking about the vine with thorns?
Indeed I am. I have tried it on my de and found that using a pencil to get them on and then using a Micron pen is much easier than trying to freehand with a brush.

I have never used a micron pen. I bought some paint pens from a craft store and was thinking of trying them. Did you follow the way they suggest in the codex? (i.e. thin line then thicken it and draw the thorns on it?
Yes I have started to work on the bases and new models I have been finishing the bases. Mainly a combination of dark grey slate and brown mud with a harvet gold grass effect. I picked up some cork this weekend and I am planning on using it on some of my future miniatures.
I have a couple of videos on you tube that show some of the basing I have been doing and I finished a Wraithlord this weekend where I did some green stuff sculpting on the base.
THis video also show's the farseer with additional highlighting on the weapons.
