When painting my Helbrute I wanted a more crimson colour to the armour. I didn't want bright warm reds like the Eavy metal one. The Eavy metal Helbrute looks like a Khorne worshipper rather then a new Renegade Space Marine chapter called the Crimson Slaughter. I didn't want the organic parts to be the same colour as the armour because that doesn't make sense to me, so the organic parts got a liberal dose of pink. Real men aren't afraid to paint pink.

I've just posted a comprehensive Helbrute tutorial on Tale of Painters.

I really like this model!! I think these dark vengeance figures are some of the best looking chaos ones out. You've done a great job painting it up, the cross between man/machine/monster is perfectly represented here.

How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?

I don't know how you do it, man. You blow me away every time I see one of your models. Awesome as always.

I'm dying to see the rest of your Dark Vengeance models!!

Great job...

Im wondering how hard it would be to convert that guy to a Cybork Body Warboss in a Mega Armor.

The model is just gorgeous, and look amazing to paint ^^

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...
My take on Demiurgs (enjoy the reading):

Probably pretty tough, the head is very small in comparison. Plus it's got the mutated Chaos bitz that don't jive as well with Orks

The head impresses me most, and perhaps the overall color choise to. Very well done!
