So after a few tries and fails for my chaos in 6th I'm coming around to the following list. General plan is for the 2 units of CSMs to strike on a flank, the plaugies and vindi sit on the defense line, and the defiler mucks stuff up. The termies with typhus are then pulled in by the icons and support the CSMs. All the units are pretty survivable and it should play well hammer and anvil style. Let me know what you think I can improve upon.

Definitely a list that works in 6th and would've been laughed at early this summer.
I'd say try it out.. but you need a combi-weapon on the Vindicator to try and keep the gun in play as long as possible with the "random" weapon destroyed results.
Let us know how this one does. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, I'd realllllly go combi-plas on the terminators.

I would say to drop the Icon of Tzeentch on each CSM squad, and replace them with IoCG, and replace the Reaper Autocannon with another DCCW, and with the remaining points equip the Terminators with combi-plasmas.

Seems like a nice list. I have a few questions though:
Why Typhus? I've used him recently and he really didn't impress. Especially when you are mating him with T4 non-FNP Terminators. Wouldn't a pair of Daemon Princes with WIngs and Lash offer more battlefield control and do more damage than Typhus and his Terminators?
The Flamer/Meltagun combo on the CSM squads seems like "jack of all trades, master of none". Wouldn't you be better served with a pair of Meltas to go Tank Hunting with, and a pair of Plasmas for Troop hunting? Cover Saves being what they are in 6th edition, Plasmas seems to be the weapon of choice.
The Defiler and Vindicator combo actually isn't bad. If you've been reading Chaos lists here on Dakka you'll know that we are big fans of "pairing up", but AV 13 being reasonably durable in 6th, it's not bad. My problem with the Vindi is you can't take advantage of 25% obscurement due to the short range of the weapon. You need to get to the middle of the table, and to do that you're either going to expose your side, or get glanced to death in transit. The paired Defilers makes more sense here. The Battle Cannon is just nice to reach out and touch people in their naughty bits, and a TL-Reaper or TL-Lascannon is pretty deadly against armor. Food for thought.
The Aegis and Quad gun (I'm assuming the Plague Marines will be manning that station) are a good addition for a 1500 point army.

Thanks for the replies.
@ Mizzri, I'd totally go melta-plasma combo if I could find the 20 pts. I'm going with Typhus because he's T5 for insta-death and adds some serious CC punch. I've been running demon princes but the 3+/5++, and only T5, for a MC is just not that survivable. Hell I've got a ton of sternguard in my area and those poison rounds are just brutal.
@ abbadon and brometheus, I'll switch the termies up to combi-plasma.

tyfus eats too many points. there should be no power fists on asp champions , unless you want to put an HQ to take challanges in to that unit , but then it is still a waste of points.
IoT is bad .+5 inv doesnt save enough dudes in melee and is not better then the cover you can get for free.
What is the vindicator suppose to do ? he has a very low side armor and is rather slow. plus he and the defiler will be the only two targets for shoting units for at least two turns. one 12av and one 13 av will have problems surviving that .
with plasma shoting at full range , terminators should be given combi plasma not combi meltas . There is also too much i1 weapons on the termis . You have tyfus and 2 ax and 2 fists , that is too much . 2 fist is enough , termiators who dont get weapon combinations should not be given power axs .
If IoT anywhere then on this unit as you will be getting fearless from an HQ.

Just make sure you can handle Walkers with his entourage: His lack of Krak grenades makes him altogether useless against Armour.

First turn he does nothing because he tanks the champion/vet sgt etc , he has all the problems of a melee only character in an edition where melee is down played . 2 DPs can be in two places , have more attacks , are faster and dont make it easier to focus fire your army , becaues tyfus gives 1 target for the enemy army while 2 DPS give 3 , with the same unit set up used.

2 Demon Princes also give you 2 KPs to worry about (granted that is only in 1 mission out of 6 now, instead of 1 in 3 like 5th). Not quite as important as it was in 5th, but it is something to think about.
