Howdy, I'm a long time reader and first time poster so here goes.
My name is Ray, I'm an engineer who is 24 years young, I've been playing Warhammer for about 9+ years now, I'm a regular Dark Angels and World Eater player with the occasional dip with my Black Templars.
I'm your run of the mill kinda guy, I love video games, movies, books, slaughtering enemies in the name of the blood god and music, you know the usual intorductiony type stuff.
More recently however, I'm starting Daemons as a new army, hobby project and competition as me and my friends have organized a little competition at our
LGS called Battle-Forced. If you are interested I wrote up the rules, so if you want to try it with your friends pm me and I can mail you a copy. I'll hopefully start posting some pictures and updates soon. (Literally just started this week)
The idea being you buy a battle force for a new army, we build it together, paint it together and play together, scoring points at certain stages for completion, painting conversions etc. Essentially it's a tale of four gamers but expanded with some fun new rules and competitions throughout. However at the end is a 1250pts tournament with no allies, and you must use everything from the battle force in the list. I'm hoping to post my list on here shortly.
So I chose Daemons as I have always wanted a khorne daemon attachment to my World Eaters and Daemons have always interested me, so I am doing a mixed gods army at first but I will develop it into a mono-khorne possibly at a later date. I should hopefully post my first list in the army list section soon.
So after that long winded speech, just gonna say hello and I hope to become good friends with you all.
In retrospect I don't know why I explained all that so much.....
