I´m facing the Imperial Guard tomorrow. This is the list I´m thinking about using. Comments are welcome!
My plan is to infiltrate the Chosens and go for either a big blob of Guardsmen or to take out tanks.
The noise marines and lascannon groups are gonna provide fire support along with the pred and the three remaing groups along with my Sorcerer are gonna move forward and take out anything too far in front. I´m switching Doombolt for a new psychic power from the cards, I´m thinking of using Pyromancy.
Whaddaya think?

10 CSM 150, Las 20, Plasma 15. 185 NOT GOOD.

It is hard to make comments on a list built for a specific purpose without knowing what you are going to face.

If you know the IG player, what does he play?

Veterans + Valkreys/Vendettas?
Foot blob?
Mech guard + a smattering of Lehman Russ?

Off-hand it appears you are making an assumption that it is footguard. You also appear to be lite on anti-tank. Basically the 2 lascannons and the chosen. I cringe if you are facing vendetta/veterans. You have no answers. Really if you do have a clue of what the IG is going to field, it would help with our comments.

Wow, I'm amazed at how much you crammed in to 1000 points. Well done! I forgot how cheap non-cult Troops were.

Normally, I would recommend using Telepathy to replace Doombolt, but I have to agree that playing against IG you will do well with Pyromancy.

Chosen are one of my signature units. I used to run them with 3 Meltas and 2 Flamers, but now I run them with 4-5 Plasmas. Are you planning to Infiltrate them, or Outflank with them? If you're planning to Outflank, they really need a Rhino.

The Noise Marine unit looks perfect. Stick them on an Objective and let them fire Heavy3 shots.

The only question I have is the two 5-man CSM Squads. Why not combine them into one 10-man Squad? You have 6 Troops units at 1000 points...most people would only run two. You're Troop heavy, and Heavy Support light. You can afford to lose the Noise Marines, or one 10-man Squad of CSM and invest in Rhinos or more Heavy Support. Oblits are popular due to their 2+ save, and Defilers are making a strong comeback in 6th. Or you could run a second Predator. Dakka is famous for loving things run in pairs

Haha, it´s just the way I do my lists. Easier for everyone.

He is usually very heavy on chimera-chassis, not a single russ in his army (thank the Dark Gods). probably gonna field one manticore and possibly one griffon. there are most likely gonna be hellhounds (or the other kinds). probably gonna face a large whiteshield blob and a few veteran heavy weapon squads.

I´ve not tried any of the new powers yet. it´s actually one of the reasons I wanted to go with a sorcerer.
the chosen are infiltrators. I never outflank. you do have a point with me being h.support weak. should I go with autocannon or lasscannon on the defiler?

It's not easier for everyone when you list points, it's just obnoxious. People have the codices. They don't need to be told.

To the point, I'd recommend some plague marines. Regular guard with lasguns can't touch them. They can camp an objective all day. Not to mention, they always get their FNP unless you opponent takes a demolisher.
Oh and lash whips are amazing. That annoying squad that keeps going to ground can be brought down in a hail of bolter fire if you pull them out of cover.
