Far Cry 2 had so much great stuff in it but the respawning enemy camps were the worst, as were the AI who had laser vision. That game is gorgeous though, and the gunplay is really fun!
Evil Zone, holy crap! That game was hilarious and awful but still stupid fun. My buddy bought it from an Ames that was going out of business and we played the hell out of it for a Summer. He got really good with the Power Ranger-looking dude. But Peggle is hardly a bad game!
Legend of Dragoons for me. I loved that game but I haven't meet any other gamer that did. Everyone else hated it. I wish they still sold ps1. I would buy it and cruise eBay for all my fav ps1 games just for the nestalgia.

I loved that game, and most of the gamers I went to college with did as well. I still have my copy (although I think disk 1 may be scratched).

I quite liked FC2, but I will agree with you, some things bugged me a little...
One thing that REALLY bugged me was that all the guns were backwards The ejection port was on the wrong side

I have never met someone who actually knows what Evil Zone is
Yeah that guy was pretty hilarious because his special was so broken... Just whack an enemy over and then spam it (he only required the opponent to be still for one second whilst he raised a red ring around him... then it'd freeze him in place whilst a satellite shot a laser at him.) Since the move knocked the opponent on the floor, you could literally spam it again and again...
My favourite character was the huge guy with the massive sword, his storyline featured a nagging wife narrating... IIRC they were all themed as being like an episodic TV show.
The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.
Ooh, one for the pile...
Sonic Heroes. Mediocre graphics, wonky gameplay, INFURIATINGLY annoying voice acting...
...And I loved it! The enemy and environment design was great, as was the soundtrack, and it was FUN, something most modern game designers seem to have forgotten about in their quest to make every game "ULTRA REALISTIC PRO MILLITARY FIRST PERSON MODERN SHOOTER OF DUTY!!!11!1!!1!111!!!!ONE!!!11!".
Doubly ironic considering if you honestly want a "realistic" shooter, Operation Flashpoint is the best you can get.
Squigsquasher, resident ban magnet, White Knight, and general fethwit.

Some Throne-Forsaken Battlefield on the other side of the Galaxy
I either played or or watched my friend play Starfox Adventures a really long time ago. We could scarcely sit through it, but he cracked up when I said everything everyone we talked to was saying in a really ridiculous voice. After that, we at least cracked up throughout every NPC speech, even if we didn't enjoy the game. That really probably wasn't what the OP was looking for, but, in a way, making fun of an awful game still makes it a "so bad it's good" experience.
