Me and my local gaming group are looking for any info on large tournaments in las vages. Any information would be a lot of help.

I used to live in Vegas and there are two shops that used to have regular tournaments.

Little Shop of Magic
You should get in touch with those stores and see what they have going on. As far as larger GT's go, they seemed to be fading away from Vegas. I was a regular at Avatar and can vouch for the owner, players, and tables there... but a lot can change in the year or more that I have been gone. Always tons of tournaments in Cali, both northern and southern.

I think Vegas also has the Ironman 40k event every year (am I getting the name right?). Plus maybe it's not Vegas, but I know Reece of the BAO was planning some kind of gamers' super vacation ... I want to say it was in Vegas, but could be mistaken.

Ironman is the correct name. There will not be an Ironman in the first part of 2013. Depending on logistics it could happen in the fall of 2013 but we will have to see how things pan out.

I am Idaho. its like a 50$ plane ticket to Vegas so thats why its being considered.

In novermber there used to be neoncon with a huge GT, but i dont know if they do that anymore now that GW has dropped its tourney support. Used to live there myself, avatar was my favorite shop to play at.

Neon Con is no more. We were going to run an Ironman at it this year but once they cancelled we lost ore venu and don't know what the future for Ironman is.
