Simply put what sports/teams do you like that aren't typical for your area. For example there is this guy from Texas who is in one of my history classes. Besides being a Cowboys fan, he is also an Redsox fan, and a fellow Islanders fan. But the weirdest form of this I have seen is a foreign exchange student at my university from Japan, who is a San Jose Sharks fan. What about you guys?

I don't know why I just love American football

Are you excited for American Football in London this year? The Rams and Patriots are playing in Whembley Stadium (I think).

Not really as I don't really care about the Rams and heavily dislike the Patriots and it's still in another country

Fair enough...
The Bears were my team until the Rams moved to Missouri... that's the ONLY Chicago team I'll admit to liking! Just to give you an idea of the native's dislike of most Chicago teams:

It's Wembley I assume Manchester United will make some appearance here considering how popular they are abroad...

I'm a Sharks fan as well. Hockey is big over here but I find that most of my friends and colleagues tend to gravitate towards teams who have a lot of Swedes on their roster, namely Detroit.

Best team!
Came here to post this. Clearly the best team.
Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
American West here, Boston Red Sox for baseball, Green Bay Packers for NFL, "Proper" football is Manchester United (yeah I'm that guy, take your Real Madrid and shove it up your arse)
I admit, I odn't even really like local ones. I'm completely in the dark about (and intentionally so) the foreign ones....
The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

My blog
Well... (as it keeps coming up), I am from Oregon, where the only major pro sports team isn't freely admitted outside the state.. much less absolutely hating the sport that the team exists for....
Anyhow, I am a Yankees fan, Canucks fan, Ducks (for college football, and is my only local team), and Raiders for US sports.
I don't truly have a team, but I really dig Rugby. I mean, the All Blacks are cool, but it seems as if every ignorant American is a "huge fan" of them. I do enjoy some of the mascot names for the various leagues.
After Rugby, about the only international sport I pay any attention to is WRC, F1, and the international cycling circuit (Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Nice, Giro de Italia, etc.)
