I don't get the joke, is it supposed to be that gay people are funny?
It may be a disconnect due to it being made before you were born, so you're missing the cultural context. This is a spot-on parody of comtemporary beer commercials of the time, only it would be with bikini babes instead of dudes. So the humor is in the subversion of expectations (even today, beer commercials tend to be a bit on the macho side). Also, twenty years ago America wasn't nearly as gay-friendly as it is now, so the concept was really surprising.

Yeah, I see the joke now it makes the ad better but still I don't know why Adam Sandler is in there, he was funny when I was 12 but now he just makes me angry.
You realize Adam Sandler is in it because this parody commercial was from 1991, right? How old were you back then?
And all feelings of negativity towards Adam Sandler should be negated by the presence of Chris Farrely.

Because it's from Saturday Night Live. Adam Sandler used to be on Saturday Night Live. In fact, he was on SNL when this was filmed, along with Chris Farley.
If that makes you angry, I'd seek out some anger management class and stay off the road so that you don't get arrested for vehicular assault or road rage.
Also, you are not allowed to be this angry about Adam Sandler after getting butt hurt when someone says something bad about Jersey Shore.

I put out the SNL ad as the 'best' simply because I cannot watch a normal beer commerical now without thinking of it.
Well that one or the one I can't find online where a bunch of yuppies are sitting around bragging about their money. Rock music starts "You know where you're going..."
Helicopters land on office buildings, limos drive down streets.
"you know where you're going"
Parties in mansions...
"You're going to hell!"
"A message from almighty God"
I saw that back in the 80s and it still makes me smile.
