There was a redirector to the 3rd site, which URL was something like mhmd mslm but I can't recall the domain type.

I skimmed it via google translate and it was basically an anti western rant.

Why, you're right. Without him we couldnt play, because he created WW2 and all.

And there weren't any 15mm historical miniatures games before FOW.

Never said I was a fan boy, I've only ever really bought a few BF miniatures, I mainly buy from PSC and Old Glory.

Its just walking around spouting the word idiots at people who aren't actually ... idiots. Is just, not very nice and the argument that he his an idiot really holds no water.

It's kind of funny in a sad way to watch how as soon as someone says that a Battlefront employee might not be an idiot and is actually a nice guy, that someone gets called a fanboy with the implication that a person who admits enjoying FOW must also think that Battlefront created WW2.

I've bought a crap ton of Battlefront miniatures, I like and play their game and I will no doubt buy their miniatures in the future, but... several of their staff come across to me as prize pillocks at times.

Yeah, well the only one that I noticed was the cretin who claimed that PSC were somehow infringing on their IP and who ever it was that thought that describing FoW as a hobby was a good thing.

It wasn't Phil Yates, it was one of their US staff in the thread on their own forums when they announced the 100% BF model tourney rule. His post made him seem like a complete tosser.

I don't know who was responsible for the 'FoW hobby'.

Then there's JP claiming that FoW was BF creating their own IP and that FoW was just a historical scale before FoW came along. Then there's his sly digs at other manufacturers in his videos. Added to that there's the Gordon Davidson Maelstrom email fiasco.

That's just off the top of my head.

There were two separate BF staff being massive pillocks in that thread.

Never had that problem, I bought a Puma with missing parts and they sent me a whole new one.

Their customer service has been excellent to me. My biggest gripe with Battlefront is that they have totally failed to grasp that the 15mm market has made huge strides in the last couple of years. BF don't seem to have fully understood that.
