I was browsing their site when I noticed three new model kits which are BRITISH!
Behold!
Matilda Mk 2
Hurricane Mk 1
Matador truck
They have also reported having finished the artwork for Panther box, but judging from its product code (5010 ), their first Panther will not be in 1:100 scale, as codes for all of their 1:100 stuff begin with 61**.

There's also some German and Soviet releases. They recently released a German SdKfz 222. I bought six of them last week.
I'm tempted to pick up some Matadors to use in my Spanish Civil War army as well.

I picked up four of them yesterday and assembled one yesterday evening. Did You assemble them already? So how do You find them? I had an issue when one of the side bits did not snap properly in its place leaving a gap. I tried to file it down, but to no avail - looking forwards to just greenstaff that gap. Did not have any spare time to assemble the others, but was interested to see if this is a common issue or I am simply doing something wrong. I also picked up their Stuka B and You know what? The sprue which contains its base and stern IMO is perfect to model 223 out of it - it has four rounded edges and it is just up to measuring cutting and glueing together.

I’ve bought a few Zvezda models and whilst I love their tanks, being not only cheap but easy and quick to assemble, I find their trucks to be very fiddly to put tougher.
I bought 6 Opel Blitz trucks from them a while ago. In the future I think I will just get resin ones from FIB. They cost about 30-40p more per truck but that’s worth it just to get the damn things in only piece.
The Matilda 2 looks nice, but I think I’ll wait and see where they go with the early war Western Front stuff. The Matador seems like an odd choice to me, wasn’t it only really used for towing heavy guns?
I had the gap issue on the German SdKfz 222 a well. I only got 2 though as most of my games are 1944 and the SdKfz 222 was fairly rare by then.

I gave a try to Zvezda Opel Blizt yesterday. and it snapped together like a breeze with no no issues. In comparison to 222 the assembly was a piece of cake, although the chassis actually look (and are) quite fragile.

@ CainTheHunter: I've assembled them all, they were much more complicated than any of the previous Zvesda kits I've built and I will have to fill some gaps in them.
Thanks for the tip for the 223. How are you making the turrets? I've cut down the 222 turrets to make 223 turrets.

Actually I have not thought about the turret yet - building the radio equipment appeared to me to be the most difficult part to accomplish But I fully agree that for some reason Sdfkz 222 so far has been the most difficult kit to assemble (the simplest so far was the Stuka bomber).
Now, thinking about the turret, I'd cut down both guns - KwK 30 L/55 and MG34 - because the Zvezda version is very brittle and fragile and replace the autocannon with MG34 barrel from those plastic 251/1 Battlefront kits (they usually come with metal gunner and You also get spare plastic MG34 and MG42 on the sprue). They are chunky enough and should look good.

Btw, speaking of 223s - does anybody know if the turret was supposed to rotate 360 degrees or not? Because looking at BF version, the wire frame kinda prohibits such movements, leaving only the front 90 degree arc. Some replicas which I saw in motion on YT suggested to me that the machinegun was actually supposed to be shorter which would allow a free rotation. But I am not sure if it was supposed to freely rotate etc.

It rotates in the rules.

Thanks mates! Seems, I'll have to cut that MG barrel shorter. Uncle Freud would definitely have something to say about this
Again, looking at the BF's 223, it appears that turret won't be able to rotate without hitting the front supporting rods or will it?

Anybody try ,modeling the bed-frame antenna on the zvezda model yet.
Here to hoping the new early war stuff from FOW will give me the justification for an early war army.

Exact terms would be BA-10, ZIS-42 with 37m39 and OT-26.
For OT, there aint much use for FoW, yet. In EW that should be the most common flamethrowin tank available - and to mention, it also offers a great opportunity to convert some early-production T-26 if they do hull correctly, just change turret to the left side and add turret from BT-5.
Ive been waitin that BA-10 - hordes of cheap scouts, here I come

I'd like to see how the Opel truck is put together. I may pick up a few if the gun can be separated.
I also see some T-26s and BA-10s in my future.
