On moon miranda.

I wonder what people who have the actual Axe wielding banshee models feel like.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

"Oh dear, now my model just has an executioner?"

I think it was addressed in the FAQ. And I thought the old axe wielding banshees were meant to be exarchs anyway?

They were exarchs yes.

Downside is that you have to pay for the upgrade to an Executioner. I always run them as normal exarchs (i.e. a power weapon), since I have a converted one with a scythe to use as a real Executioner.

Well, its only +10 points. What is it, a +2S AP2 weapon?

Is that it? For +10pts? That's not right. What other bonuses does it provide?

Range S AP Type
- +2 3 Melee, Two-handed

That's cheaper than a relic blade.

Don't relic blades provide rerolls to hit?
I guess that's alright though if its cheaper. I guess I'm used to paying 10 points for the veritable death dealer that is the warscythe

A relic blade counts as a power weapon whose hits are
resolved at Strength 6. Due to its size and weight, a model
wielding a relic blade cannot get an extra attack for an
additional close combat weapon.

Meh, I'll just use my Power axe Exarch as a power sword like the rest. Won't be the only wonky bit, as my squad are all still wielding laspistols.....

The real problem is that it wouldn't have been worth putting axes on banshees even they struck at I 10 and had no risk of being faqed.

I'm pretty sure that is EXACTLY when they would have been worth it.

Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
