I have heard about pay to play stores but never been to a store that does it. One flgs I have been too has free gaming space but also has a costumer loyalty program were you buy into your own discount. Like $X get 5% off, with a total up to 20% off discount for all products instore. Which is awesome if your into multiple game systems but encourages people to branch and try new stuff .

I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly.

my local gaming store has 6 tables dedicated for wargames and about 9 dedicated for MTG. They never charge for use of the tables, and generally offer between 10-15% off on most gaming items (I think some systems have less profit in their price point) but GW is 15% off.

I always buy at least a couple of dollars worth of stuff from them every time I game, paint, a mini or two, several cans of soda and snacks, Grey Knight army, etc...
