Hiding in a dark alley with a sharp knife!

It looks like I'm about to score one of these very cheap. (we're talking less than 10$ cheap before shipping...got to love mis-labled/mis-listed Ebay auctions!) I am thinking about painting this guy up for my Imperial Fist army. But I have one question: do the scrolls on the banner that comes with the figure have the chapter name molded on, or are they just blank scrolls? Clearly I'm hoping for the later as the iconoghraphy for the Crimson Fists and Imperial fists is close enough for me to just change the colors.

I'll use the captain model in any event.

Isn't this the figure that's notorious for being miscast? Maybe being cheap isn't all that...

Fair enough. But the item I bid on is sealed and un-opened. I could probably get GW to send a new one if it were flawed.

I did some further research, found some better pictures (something i should have done the first time), and found the answer I was looking for. The banned does have the name molded on.

Seeing as it's Finecast how is that a problem exactly? The removal should be easy peasy.

even if it where metal, the letters are recessed...
just fill them with Greenstuff and paint over it...
