Howdy all, I need a little help. I've been trying to figure out how to fill vacant space on 60mm bases effectively.
A little background: I'm building a Tallarn army based on a sand/small rock base. For the normal infantry its fine, a small piece of shrubbery or a rock fills the blank space pretty well. However for my sentinels there's a bit of a problem - too much blank space. I could put a small, flat rock to fill the void but A) I wasn't envisioning a desert being very rocky and B) I think I can do better
So I turn to you. Does anyone know of any kits, GW or otherwise, that has any sort of bits that would fill the space and still fit the theme? Maybe small snakes or scorpions (more than likely 3rd party), cacti, skeletons (human, horse, and Tyranid). I know there are nid skulls in one of the kits, anyone know which one? Or does anyone have ever better ideas?
Thanks in advance

Do you know what it contains in particular?
From the box I see a lot of rubble but it doesn't really match what I'm going for. Thanks for the reply though

I had one a few years ago and it had some great stuff in it. It had large slate rocks, crushed slate filler (makes good ash when painted), and quite a few resin bases. It has at least 5 40mm, quite a few 25mm, and a ton of smaller resin pieces to accent a base (such as helmets, fallen flags, spent casings, etc.). I won it in a tournament, but I probably would have bought it eventually just because it has some useful things in it. The Etched brass details are great too, I used up all the mesh grating pretty quick.
It also comes with little tubs that you can store your own collected basing materials in. A bit trivial, I know, but I like putting my basing material in there and dipping my pva-glue-coated infantry bases in there. It's just a convenient size.

Secret Weapon Miniatures also has a good list of things to use for basing. Ron at From the Warp has used pieces in tutorials. There's a Scenic & Basing Kit section on Secret Weapon Miniatures to check out.

Thanks Fox for the rundown, sounds like there are a couple things I could use in there but the price is a little steep. I'll keep an eye out for a used one
I hadn't checked out Secret Weapon before itsacoyote but I think I'll order a couple things from there, thanks! Mainly suits my Necromunda needs so that's a nice bonus

I use quarters for my bases, with some sculpy for height (lends some weight to the plastic minis) then I apply some glue to the base then dip the base in some sand or dirt. looks awesome.

It used to. The ones that have been produced recently have changed.

Guess I'm finally starting to show my gaming-age I still feel like a newbie, but that's probably just due to 6th being relatively new.
Secret Weapon stuff looks pretty good too. I'd just browse around in Google, there are a ton of small-time resin basing artists out there peddling their wares.

Fresh kills?
Buy a box of 'nids or spare pieces online and put them there half buried in the sand, paint some gore.
