5th edition, but I once saw a bog-standard Lasgun Guardsman walk up to Abaddon and slap him of the table (to be fair, Abaddon & his Jazzhands 'Nators had been hit with ~9 Lascannons a turn previous, but still.)

Onuris Coreworld

Best challenge so far for me has been my Necron Overlord with Sempiternal Weave, Warscythe and MSS vs Dante. The fight lasted 4 turns with my Overlord finally winning after Dante failed a MSS test and killed himself. Good times.

Mine has to be when my 1 purifier with a force sword went into combat with a squad of 12 khorne berzerkers. He killed every. last. one. I could not believe it. He then went on to slay Abaddon after 3 turns. Come to think of it I don't think Ive ever seen him killed.

Wow that is damn good luck!

Lets see.

Draigo has 4 attacks. Hitting on 3s and wounding on 2s(well assume hammerhand was used) Then the CC saves on a 5+

So the math puts Draigo causing 1.48 unsaved wounds a round. So slightly less then what you experienced.

Now the CC has 4 attacks. hitting on 2s, wounding on 3s, and getting saved on 3s. So .4444 wounds a round on Draigo.

Dang, the GK player rolled average on Draigos attacks and rolled horribly on saves

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Draigo's a natural S5, so either Hammerhand gives him ID due to S6 vs. T3 or his Force Weapon does.

Deadly Dire Avenger

My farseer with a squad of DA's got assaulted by a reclusiarc (the blood angel priest HQ guy) and a squad of jump infantry. He challanged me, and knowing that the reclusiarc would probably wipe my DA's, i accepted with my farseer. The jump infantry and my dire avengers actually ended up kill each other!! so it was down to my farseer and the reclusiarc, the combat went on for about 6 rounds. Then like a bad my avatar came in, pushed the farseer out of the way, and killed the reclusiar, before he could even attack.

TL,DR Farseer held out against melee beast, avatar comes in at last second, pushes farseer out of the way and one shots the baddie.

I had my Company Commander take down a Chaos Terminator champ last week. The command squad just pasted the champs four buddies with plasmaguns, and the Termie champ decided it was payback time. He slaughters a few guys in the ensuing charge, leaving the Major and a terrified guardsman to stand against him.

Major calls him out, lands one wound, and the champ fails the save. I like to think that the CC grabbed the plasmagun from the panicked guardsman and shot the champ in the face...

Wolf Guard Battle Leader with storm shield and frost blade battled a blood thirster for 4 whole turns.. ended up killing each other on turn 5 only to be charged by a Skulltaker (who died to overwatch fire from 7 storm bolters lol)

Ive learnt that if it is an IC with 9 termie buddies vs another IC/MC (by himself) it is worth declining the challenge (even if it is very unSpace Wolfie) and not fighting with my IC and have the 9 other termies smash the enemy IC/MC rather than have my IC and the enemy IC/MC flail at eachother for 3+ turns.. it just ties that whole unit up

I've got a plain ole' Honour Guard Champ who has already taken down Ahriman, Belial, a Cybork Warboss, a Necron Lord and about 3 exarchs and a couple aspiring champions along the way... walked away every time. I have no clue how many dozens of rank and files he's butchered too.

Its not so much the challenges for me, its the insane streak this 1 W Init 4 guy is on.

My Marshal use to have something similar. He has yet to die in any 1v1 game, and the only game he had been felled thus far was a 3v3 where the entire enemy team of 4500 gunned into him. I guess that still counts though right?

Awesome streak though. I think someone deserves to be named!!

...well he might already have his own history here

Some of the stuff mentioned in his history happened in 5e, so I didn't mention it above, but all of his exploits are "in game", not fabricated.

One of my best challenges was Pre 1.1 FAQ when a shield drone accepted Drazahar's challenge and held him in combat for a couple of turns while my rock-em sock-em crisis suits punched Incubi to death after the Incubi failed to wound.

This is awesome, can only imagine the hilarity of that situation.
