Surprised this hasn't been talked about yet (or didn't see it). Nomad Games (formerly of THQ) is putting out a PC version of the Talisman board game

These are the guys who put out Space Marine: Kill Team which was a fun little game. Look forward to this and will be on display at Games Day: UK this weekend.

I'd be interested if it turned up as a download on LIVE, with a few achievement points tied in, but I'd not get it for the PC.

This would be wicked on a tablet, but not really all that special on a PC.

Bingo. I have a bunch of boardgames on my iPhone, and this would be a welcome addition, but on a PC? Just plain no.

"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

I'm confused. Am I supposed to give up TF2 for this or WoW?

Talisman Prologue is available! - the game is now available to purchase from our website - www.talisman-game.com/purchase/
The game comes in two editions - Standard and Premium. The Premium edition includes a desktop theme for Windows7 and the game's soundtrack.

Dabbled a little bit with some of the test game, if you like Talisman you'll like this IMO.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Think I mentioned a while back that there was a possibility of turning old IP's that GW is not currently using into Video games.

Old business concepts; nothing new in my case. Just expect more of this in the future from GW from some of the other IP's that they currently own.

I'll give them credit for putting out this game in a electronic format.

Adam's Motto: Paint, Create, Play, but above all, have fun. -and for something silly below-

"We are the Ultramodrines, And We Shall Fear No Trolls. bear this USR with pride".

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

You must recite every rule of Dakka Dakka. BACKWARDS.

You're supposed to play all three at the same time... but only for a limited time... then you move to 'ball-in-a-cup turbo pro remix edition.
