#1: Warbikes are more or less a must. As an alternative, you can use deffkoptas or Space Marine bikes.

#2: The nob torso that comes with the boyz sprue. You normally only want one of those for your mob of 20 (asuming you're not using the better-looking ones from the nobz box). Save the spare torso, fit some arms (might need some repositioning) and glue it to a set of warbikers' legs. At least four of my biker nobs use this torso. The remaining four use the one included in the warbikers box.

#3: Plasticard can be used to make armor and glyphs. Plasticard tubes can be used to stretch the fork blades.

#4: The rokkits from the stormboyz box are great for adding extra bling to nob/warboss bikes. Also, the Deffdread, trukk and kans boxes are veritable mines of bitz. If youn don't have those handy, you can order them from your bitz provider of choice.

My warboss was made with a warbiker nob (the one included in the box), an AOBR nob's head, the rear axle, rear wheels exhaust tube and fuel tank of a trukk, a dakkajet's turbine, and a close combat weapon, shoulder guards, big shootas and bosspole from a Deffdread kit. It was relatively easy to throw it all together and the end result looks more or less pleasing to the eye. I'll post some pics of him later today, promise.

So to make a basic one order warbikes, nob body bits and nob arm bits.

Some of the Nob bodies from the plastic Nobz box have their legs spread wide enough that they'll fit on the bikes just fine. The Nob bodies from Boyz and Biker boxes will fit on the legs already in the biker box and look good as well.

There's always the forge world ones:

Expensive yes but very nice looking, or you can just use them as a reference as you build your own.
