Why the target lock on the Shas'el. Drop the Shield generator they are never worth it too many pts. Drop the Iridium armour the protection isn't worth it for the pts and mobility loss. And drop the stimulant injector he has no need for it. Use the spare hardpoint to make the Missile Pod Twin Linked.

Stealthsuits are too expensive. you get a burst cannon and a fusion blaster meaning they need to get in close for the blaster and the burst cannons are next to useless anyway. swap them out for XV8's.

Fire Warriors imo have 3 options 12 men, 6 men and 8 men for when you want to fill in pts or if you want the squad to hang in there a bit longer. put them up to a 12 man squad drop the photon grenades, if they get charged they're dead anyway, and use them for tank hunting.

Or drop all the upgrades and put them to a 8 or 6 man squad to sit and shoot. Or you could do this with a full 12 squad. if going full 12 then take the Shas'ui if not going for 12 it dont matter. if you are going for the 12 man EMP tank hunting squad drop the markerlight its a heavy weapon and you going to be moving so you wont ever need it. Also drop the drones to gun drones if any at at all. You wont need shield drones at all no ones going to waste any decent weapon on Fire Warriors.

Also why the target lock on the Hammerhead?

Ok, from the top:

TL/SG/IA/SI on HQ because he is going to be with the stealth suits, at the front eating wounds.

Stealth Suits because i only have 1 non HQ, and a 1 man crisis 'team' is useless.

FW are gonna sit on an objective, so tried to make it they are as survivable as possible. and the shield drones because i would like to have somethig good enough to eat a lascannon should any come thier way.

TL on HH so it can zip around firing at different things at full BS, claiming 3+ cover. was also thinking about swaping the burst cannons for sms, yay or nay?

its the Multi-tracker that allows for zipping about firing as a fast vehicle. Target lock allows the burst cannons to fire at a different target and Nay to the SMS always burst cannons use the SMS for devilfish.

If you want them to sit back drop the EMP's they do not need them at all. And taking wounds from the front means that for it to eat the lascannon it would need to be in front which means its eating all other regular shots. that a gun drone could eat meaning oyur wastin the invun save. And no-one will ever shoot a lascannon at fire warriors. If they are then you have bigger problems like... where has the rest of your army gone? If Fire warriors are being shot at by lascannons something has gone wrong for you and you have nothing left.

LoL

Your Shas'El is way too "survival". He's a premium base cost over regular crisis suits, keep him simple, keep him cheap.

Fusion blasters are generally as no on stealth suits, they don't really compliment the unit, specially if your shas'el has a missile pod. Tacking drones onto stealth suits is generally a bad idea too, (unless they are markers but thats a different unit altogther) as it increases the squad silhouette and therefore making it easy to kill.

Fire Warriors aren't survivable, and grenades are just way too expensive. For fire warriors to survive you need much more high priority targets for your enemy such as crisis teams or broadsides. A devilfish goes a long way here. Also you can't get the team leader upgrade on fire warriors and the 1 markerlight is wasted, as are the shield drones.

The hammerhead is again, a points high, keep it simple. Railhead, Burst Cannons (or sms, I like both) Blacksun Filter and Multi-Tracker and BOOM tank is done.

You really need the Disruption pods if you want the hammer zipping round, the 3+ cover is a gem. [edit rules error]

Photon grenades give shrouding from anything in side 8", so are not a bad 1 point upgrade for a FW. I think the Marklights in this list are going to go waste. Neither is networked and they only work for Tau units. I would take them and the EMP off to save 45 points. That means you also drop the seekers to save another 20 for 65 points saved. That is 2 more warriors and 4th stealth suit. Or even better save those 65 points + the 40 from the Shield generator and Armor for a XV8 bodyguard unit and an 11th FW. The only counts as the 1 HQ slot

XV8 Bodyguard: Plasma,Missile Pod, HWMT, TA, BSF = 80 pts.

Drop the Stimulant injector and you could pick up a 3 sheild drone
