What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
I bought a bag of 50 thick metric flat washers from Fastenal for 91cents, thought that was pretty inexpensive. I used to buy the lead weights (2 pieces) on ebay until the guy when up in price by $2 a bag.... I find that locating the older non slotted 25MM bases harder than anything.

In that time I would have expected you to address how to do slotta-bases and the 40/60 mm bases (with holes) as well.
Those bases are the real issue.
First off, thanks for the criticism. I have had this video out for a while and I has hoping to learn what people did not like before I move on to tutorials that are a little less straight forward. So in the future I will move things along better for the simple stuff.
I think I have a solution for the slotted bases and larger bases with holes in them. I found a local distributor that can get me the perfect sized ball bearing for these bases. I plan to use the bearing for weight and then fill in around with epoxy. My questions is,"How many other folks would want bearings for their bases and how much are they willing to pay per base? I plan to buy some soon and if I buy in large quantities, like 5-20 thousand bearing the cost per bearing goes way down. If there is a need and this method works I wanted to know if anyone wants me to order a bunch and then send them out so we all can get a good deal.
I glue solder under my bases - it's worked a treat with my Stormboyz which are very top heavy...
You can pull as much or as little as you need off the roll, and can be bent to shape to fit into slotta bases or 40/60mm bases with holes. Plus it's not too expensive...
