How does this fella do? I've seen Ailaros use him effectively(-ish) as an anti-air unit, but how does the little guy do rolling on Telepathy? Is he worth the points? Having a force weapon seems nice if the unit he's with gets assaulted - especially if you model it as an axe and keep him tucked away, or does he get sniped out? Is he better than Marbo (although that's only a comparison in points value, not killing ability)?

Thoughts on the PP's effective use, and which powers are good in what situations would be amazing.

I've been using mine as a Magos for my mechanicum genestealer cult and just sit him at the back with an engineseer and five servitors blowing expensive things up

He's really good IMHO. I've been running him as my HQ for my allied contingent since the end of January and he's done really well for me.

I'm not sure about telepathy, I tend to swap his powers out for Biomancy. I know a lot of people have been running Wolves and Guard recently and I've been doing the same, putting him in a squad of Grey Hunters so that there's a psyker in every squad.

I think it really depends on how you're using him, if you're using him with a main Guard army I'm not sure what I'd give him, but in alliance with Wolves I like the Biomancy because I have a good chance of either getting Iron Arm or the power that allows me to give a squad relentless and it will not die. The latters is really nice with Long Fangs and the former can make him a bit of a beast. Last tournament I went to in the last game he managed to get Iron Arm and beat down a maxed squad of Obliterators. A bit lucky but still not bad for 70pts.

I'd not considered biomancy, I guess because a lot of the powers there are pretty poor except for the two you mentioned. The Telepathy ones intrigue me because they all seem decent at a minimum.

Yeah, but with 2 rolls on the chart it's likely that you'll get one of the 2, and he's only 70pts so even if he doesn't get those it's not the end of the world.
