hi everyone

so i have a few games lined up this weekend with people who i have never played against and re-reading the brb when it occoured to me that i think i have been running my de spearmen wrong. could someone tell me if this new way is correct.

it states that spears use two hands but can take shields also,
new way; so does this mean my armour rating is 5+ against shooting attacks but 6+ when in cc,
old way; or still get there 5+ armour and just no ward in cc

That's not at all what it says.

Spears are 2 hand items in Mordheim, and possibly 6th edition.

They are not 2 hand items now.
