Hey guys. I am about to start Tomb Kings and would really like to create a well rounded list that is competitive enough for tournaments; here is what I came up with. It's magic focused with a bit of shooting. While I don't have many heavy hitters to back up my warrior blocks, I will be relying on augments and the Princes in each unit to be decent in combat. The Priest stays with the archers and gains support from the Titan. Let me know what you think!

Liche High Priest (Hierophant, General, Lore of Nehekhara)
- Level 4 Wizard, Healing Potion, Dispel Scroll [270]

Tomb Prince
- Great Weapon, Armour of Silvered Steel, Dragonbane Gem [154]

Tomb Prince
- Shield, Sword of Strife, Dragonhelm [152]

Skeleton Warriors (41)
- Spears, Master of Arms, musician, standard bearer [235]

Skeleton Warriors (41)
- Spears, Master of Arms, musician, standard bearer [235]

Skeleton Archers (29)
- Master of Arrows, musician, standard bearer [204]

Skeleton Chariots (4)
- Master of Chariots, musician, standard bearer, Banner of Eternal Flame [260]

Hierotitan [175]

Screaming Skull Catapult [90]

Screaming Skull Catapult [90]

Casket of Souls [135]

The best tourney list I've seen is:

Level 4 light General
Level 4 nehekhara hierophant

Core filled with archers (25 man character bunker, and the rest is units of 10)

2*5 mounted archers

2*6 Necroknights with a muso

Hierotitan

2 screaming skull catapults

I would advise you go for that list personally, as tk shooting is the best in the game. Necroknights with buffs from Light magic will charge in and win combats.

Okay, I've definitely been considering Necroknights but I'm confused by their rules. How many attacks come from the supporting rank? Is it just the 2 attacks from each knight or do the serpents get their attacks too?

Only the riders get to make supporting attacks, but they are deliciously good. A unit of 6 would do good but you run them wide at least 4 and the amount of attacks they put out is crazy, add on some buffs from the lore of light and they become near unstoppable. The problem with your initial list is lack of killing power which the knights will bring and also lack of redirectors and chaff which skeleton horse archers do. Warriors don't really have killing power they are generally run with hand weapon and shield and 5 wide to act as a tar pit however if you look here http://z4.invisionfree.com/Khemri/index.php?showtopic=11070&hl= you will see they run well horded with support from hatred and buffs however I must disclaim this guy is one of the top notch generals.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd
