I've been building up my forces for our club's Spain in Flames Spanish Civil War project. My army's now at 1,000 points.

Two companies of rifle infantry with a light mortar and two DP MG teams shared between them. A battery of French 1897 guns with staff team and two BT-5 tanks. The I-16 'Mosca' and the tank next to it (a kitbashed Vickers 6-ton) are not part of the force.

Here's a better picture. The opening turn of my first 1,000 point game. Advancing towards an isolated Nationalist position that turned out to be a bloody ambush.

I really like it! Out of curiosity, what made you decide on the bt-5 over the t-26?

Crimson Fists 2,000 pts
Orks 1,000 pts

Thanks. I took the BT-5 over the T-26 because Zvesda make the correct model of BT-5 but don't make the correct T-26. My local FLGS stocks Zvesda kits and they're dirt cheap. T-26s cost twice as much money.

Indeed. There's also that the the BT-5 is the classic sports car of the tank world. Just look at the curves on those fenders.

I'm sorry... I just don't see it. Now if you pose a swimsuit model on the hood...
