Just curious is modeling your big shootas near the side doors so all guns would be facing forward is modeling for advantage or not.
In other words all the guns will be forward facing because of hatches and such.

Fine by me. There's not really any set positions for ork vehicles, nor should there be.

Thats not too far off from where 2 are setup anyways. The boyz in back manning the guns are sticking right out the side. And with a 45 degree fire arc, they can shoot strait down the side of the BW. Your method wouldnt be cheating, because the 45 degree arc, cant pass through the BW its self anyways. Really, youd be LOOSING part of your arc having them stuck to the side like that.

lol if someone calls MFA on a battlewagon with 4 BS no mater how they are modeled, that person is total suck. Seriously 4 BS its like claiming a predator is OP because it has sponson heavy bolters.

It would be no different than if you took up all the hatch spots with big shootas. With the 'ard case top on there are 3 places to put guns on that would have 360 degree range. I personally have a battle wagon that has an ork boy shooting a big shoota out of one of the doors on the BW cab. It looks cool. I think there is a difference between modeling for advantage and making a badass looking model. The fire points on the side are what give the 45 degree arc for passengers inside. I agree with others' posts that there should not be any restrictions placed on ork modeling as long as the ork modeler is being honest.

So you'd be ok with someone modeling those sponsons on top of the predator turret?
You obviously either missed the whole point, or have never seen a battlewagon model. Hint: The kit comes with four big shootaz, and directions on where to place them.
@ OP: As KC pointed out, you really aren't changing the model much game-wise, so I see no problem here. The orks in the the back can shoot towards the front, too, I think that's the whole point of that wonky rear compartment.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

I always thought that the two Big Shoota Boyz in the bed of the BW had 180 degree arc of fire, just like a sponsoned weapon?

I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time. |

That's how I play it, and I have never seen it played differently or had it being questioned by anybody.
