For an upcoming tournament, each scenario features every mission (3x objective, base objective, KP) and Linebreaker, Slay the warlord and First blood, just the deployment type changes. The 3x objectives are set up so that one is always in the middle of the table, the other 2 placed normally.

I thought I'd bring my wolves:

Rune Priest, JotWW, Storm caller, Force axe, WTT 105 (Warlord)
Wolf Guard battle leader, Power axe, WTT, Saga of the Hunter 100
(10) Grey hunters, 2x plasma, Standard 170
(10) Grey hunters, 2x plasma, Standard 170
(10) Grey hunters, 2x plasma, Standard 170
(10) Grey hunters, 2x plasma, Standard 170
(6) Long fangs, 5x ML 140
(6) Long fangs, 5x ML 140
(5) Long fangs, 4x ML 115

Primaris Psyker 70
PCS 30
Infantry squad, Autocannon, Power axe, meltabombs 75
Infantry squad, Autocannon, Power axe, meltabombs 75
Infantry squad, Autocannon, Power axe, meltabombs 75
Infantry squad, Autocannon, Power axe, meltabombs 75
Infantry squad, Autocannon, Power axe, meltabombs 75

= 1750

Since each mission features KP and first blood, I've taken fairly large units to maximise the chance of winning KP and getting first blood.

The basic idea of the list is to just roll up onto the middle objective and flood midfield with bodies. Against lists that can't deal with large amounts of MEQ + the blob rushing them, you can run up right into their face and smack them. The Long fangs are there to give you some long range guns, and they help against lists that you can't outshoot at the 24" range (mainly horde PAGK). Against these lists you can hang back and shoot, then push midfield late-game, instead of going right into 24" and getting shot to pieces.

The WGBL can give the Blob stealth, or if your opponent places his base obj carelessly he can join a GH squad and outflank them to try and steal your opponents base. With acute senses they'll come in where you want them quite accurately.

So, thoughts/criticisms? =)

Looks like a solid list.

The only thing I'd say is drop the WTT off the Rune Priest, with the new FAQ you can only use either the Runic Weapon or the WTT but not both, so it's pretty useless on him.

Surprised you are not taking advantage of Divination.

I'd kill to have it.

This. Combined with plasma on the guard instead of *chuckles* power weapons, you'd have a disgusting gun-line list. It'd also free up your GHs to take melta and outflank using the wolf guard battle leader for some anti-tank awesomeness. The rune priest can go in the blob making the BS3 far more accurate with prescience. Far better use than power weapons and meltabombs. Same points cost too.

Also the Rune priest can't take a "force axe" the rune weapon counts as an unusual force weapon str: user ap:3

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

^ Correct... because it provides a special rule in close combat (2+ against demons)

Good point, plus seeing as you're burying your Warlord in a 50 man squad it's going to be pretty difficult for your opponent to get him out and claim Slay the Warlord.

You don't have to say in your army list, you choose when you get to the table whether you're going to swap your powers out or not. Although with my Primaris Psyker I normally do.

Pretty much every single game my RP will be swapping for Divination, and the Primaris Psyker for Biomancy. They're usually both going in the blob and buffing it w/ Prescience and whatever you can get from Biomancy. My bad, should have specified in the first post.

TBH, I'd rather have power weapons+meltabombs on the blob, as with Power axes you can actually beat up even fairly large marine squads in CC, they make you a credible CC threat to mostly anything, instead of your 375pt blob getting tied up in CC with 10 MEQ for the whole game because you can't beat their 3+ in CC. Plasma guns on bs3 guys just doesn't sound very hot, especially considering their point cost, and the fact that overheats will almost always kill the guy holding the gun.
