Hi all long time stalker first time poster,

A few people recommeded I make a blog on here with some of my work, even though I never thought my stuff that good . Never made a modelling blog before, so anyways here goes...
cnc welcome
Also, I don't have a real good camera so excuse some of the pics. (hoping to get a new one soon)

First up a few years ago (read many) our club decided to run a Armageddon game for christmas, so I got busy with some plasticard for the imperials.

This was one of the Warhounds I knocked up in short order, however due to female induced distractions, it never got used for its intended reason and spent all its life (apart from one game) decorating a shelf s o it got sacrificed to the gods of ebay.

The bottom pic is one I used for ebay after it had been sat on a shelf for too long, hence the dust and the shine, as it had been built before I discovered matt varnish (I find painting a chore so don't pay t much attention, I do like the outcome though when I finish)

Anyway my first love is and always will be my blood angels (I'm colourblind see and can tell red ) but always wanted to do an armour force of guard so started scratch building and modifying tanks (pics later when I have some) but got bored of building to a design set of what "looks imperial" and wanted to just build what I wanted. So I went to salute and picked up a few orky bits in my persuit to empty my bank balance.

My first thought was something big, stompy and shooty, either a deff dread OR huge warboss and I remembered the RAGE that was made when the first dreadnight was "looted" and that just sold it for me

I have also put an ork "driver" in there with 2 cc power weapons in case I play it as a deffdread

I also grabbed hold of a few zinge industries resin bits, like wheels and v8's etc. I wanted to make a universal chassis design that could be used BOTH by my guard and orks. In doing so this was made with full leafspring suspension.

Deciding while I was currently building orks, might as well orkify this!
Love the idea of an ork looking at a piece of junk and thinking.. "that'll do!!"

As you can see, I like to make them have moving parts.

Also started work on my own dakka jet (copter) as I HATE the look of the storm talon.. so as a personal challenge decided to make something I didn't hate out of it..
This is now finished but not got the pics. So for now these are only wip.

As said CnC welcome, Loads more stuff I need to get pics of and uploaded too. Thanks all for looking.

Wow!

That's a lot to digest!

I love the looted storm talon - shows great promise and the moving bonnet on the trukk.

Have you tried Zinge's rivet strips yet?

Will be checking back in soon to see how your getting on!

I've seen them, He only lives around the corner from me so I'm usually getting toys from him. However I'm saving up again to abuse his stand down at salute and see all the new bits
