I'm just wondering what i should be getting next for expanding my Leman Russ Squadron as at the minute I have three Leman Russ's; 1 Demolisher, 1 LRBT and 1 Executioner.

Which do you think I should get next and do you think I need to arrange my Squadrons differently with maybe more relevant weaponry when compared to the other tanks in the squadron such as putting anti-tank with anti-tank or mix it up a little with anti-tank mixed with anti-infantry?

You always want Russes to have the same purpose as their squadmates.

So another one of the 3 you have perhaps.

Probably the regular LRBT then. It's the cheapest tank of the 3 you have and probably the easiest to spam in large numbers.

Plus, it's got a long range, so you're less likely to be screwed by sqaudron movement. You can also take advantage of squadron rules to use one tank to tank hits, and once its lost a couple hull points, move up the other one. The glances must then be placed on the now closer full hp tank, meaning that if you're clever, your opponent will have to shave off 5 hullpoints worth of AV 14 to kill the first russ. Yeah the second one is probably dead same turn, but its still a handy way to drive enemy AT insane.

And if you have to, you can do the tried and true "drive back and forth over difficult terrain until you immobilize one so you can split fire" technique. Yes, its probably a stupid tactic, but that one game where you NEED to split fire, it can deffinitely come in handy.

Just note that you now lose a hull point if you get immobilized by doing this.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

That's what we call the "awesome" tax

Yes it's a downside. hence why I said it's a bizarre tactic. But both that tactic and the swapping back and forth to eat hullpoints won me a game once against eldar of all things. As you can imagine, no sane Eldar will plan on a Guard Commander intentionally immobilizing his own tanks! That and watching their moans of frustration when the 1hp russ just hid behind the full HP one in the squadron was priceless

If you have to split fire, you need more squadrons!

Usually you want a composition that compliments the individual tanks in the squadron, which most people simply double up on the same pattern, however, there's room to experiment with each pattern:

1) The Standard Russ Pattern with Battle Cannon - This tank can practically go in any combination simply because its useful armament. Ordnance helps blowing up vehicles, Str 8 helps kill multi-wound models, and the low AP 3 (I think) Pie Plate can certainly handle any horde units.

2) The Exterminator Russ with Exterminator AutoCannons - Another practical pattern that can tackle Hordes and Light Vehicles with relative ease, though it's a bit more expensive to coax as much damage as possible with it (Adding Heavy Bolter Sponsons for attacking infantry, or taking a hull mounted Las Cannon to address Vehicles).

3) The Eradicator Russ with Eradicator Cannon - This pattern's only strength is against Infantry and bunkered down Infantry (Space Marines holding objectives for instance). Being able to ignore cover and at a nice Strength 6, you want to pair it with either a Demolisher or Standard Russ.

4) The Demolisher with Demolisher Cannon - This pattern, like the Standard Russ, can tackle anything, however, with its short range it's not that attractive to stick it with the Russes that have the longer guns.

5) The Punisher with Punisher Gatling Cannon - Strictly Infantry with this one. With it's short range, you can practically marry it with a Demolisher and chase after infantry.

6) The Vanquisher with Vanquisher Cannon - The most unsung variant, the Vanquisher has the better time of dealing with AV 14-13 offensive tanks than any other Russ. Because of its potency against heavy tanks, you really only need one, and if you want to pair it with something, stick an Exterminator with it for a pretty decent combination of anti-tank weaponry.

7) The Exterminator with Exterminator Plasma Cannons - It kills infantry very fast. All types of infantry. If you want something to pair it with, a Standard Russ or Exterminator with Heavy Bolters...
