I am considering purchasing and using Abaddon for my chaos army (been working on the army for a couple months now) and I was curious, if I painted him up in another chapters colors would I still be able to field him as Abaddon The Despoiler or would I have to rename him? And while in another chapters colors would I still be able to field Chosen as troops?

the abaddon model is so old and he reminds me of a square block. Abaddon the Fridge with his dumb little hair-do.

i think the plastic chaos terminator lord would make a great platform to convert a better looking abaddon.

and it shouldnt matter, paint him whatever colour you want.

I use the old metal Terminator lord plus a combi-bolter for Abaddon.

You can use him as is no matter what colors you paint him.

Drach'neyan, the Talon of Horus, the trophy racks and Abaddons head all go well with the Terminator lord. It's not hard to use them on it and make a fantastic kitbash.
